Do yourself a favour and go here and order the iced mocha. If cold deliciously creamy chocolate and coffee isn't your thing (and it wasn't mine either to start with, I only found out how amazing these were because my partner would always order one, and now I have to start ordering my own because I drink his) then you can literally order any other drink and not be disappointed. The freshly made juices are exceptional too! The food never disappoints, very generous servings for a very good price. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, especially Jose'! I consider Caffeine Palace the hidden gem of Glebe!!
THE CAFFEINE PALACE IS A PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO EAT IN THE GLEBE AREA. THE FOOD WAS SCRUMPTIOUS AND ARRIVED VERY QUICKLY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ALSO BRILLIANT AND THE WORKERS WERE BERY KIND AND HELPFUL. WIG SNATCHED

Popped into Caffeine Palace this afternoon for a quick bite and a coffee. Very welcoming atmosphere.
Greeted at the door by the barista, I found a seat.
Ordered a long black and ordered the chicken burger.
Sometimes a simple long black can be the most difficult coffee to get right and the barista produced a lovely coffee with excellent crema.
My burger soon followed which was delicious served with freshly cooked chips. Simple meal but done well.
Lovely service, good food and great coffee!

Leaving a memorial service for a writer acquaintance, I really wanted a coffee fix, and stumbled on this place. The name, the menu, the font used on the menu: it seems like a regular old humble Aussie cafe, and I found something comforting about that. I liked the ambience, my coffee was perfectly fine, with, as you can see, some excellent latte art. Service was friendly. Seems like a solid place to hang out. But will Glebe favour the humble or are they catering to the hipsters these days? I’ll keep an eye open to see how it’s doing the next time I’m in the ‘hood.

The best café in Glebe. I have been going here for almost one year since they opened. Consistent high quality of food (delicious, good price and generous portion, as noted by others before) and drinks and services. The owner and the crew are amazing and happy. It is new in Glebe but it is definitely getting return customers like me. Thank you!
Update as at Dec 2019: There is a change of ownership so this place is now "The Dispensary," not "Caffeine Palace." The food and coffee are okay but the staff who are the face of the shop are not as passionate as the old bunch before. With so many cafés within the vicinity, the people (besides the quality and price of food and drinks) is what makes the difference.
My partner and I were in Sydney for a week recently and enjoyed the food at the Caffine Palace so much, we ended up going there 3 times.
The first time we just popped in for a take-away coffee but we enjoyed the coffee so much that we came back in the next day for breakfast. She had the pancakes, I had the ricotta toast. Both were generously portioned with fantastic ingrediates which made an absolutely wonderful meal. The ricotta toast especially had spinach, avacado, smoked samon and ricotta all of a high quality with great flavors.
We tried a couple of other places in our time in Syndey but agreed that none of them were as good as Caffine Palace and we went back on our last day to have another great breakfast.
The staff were so friendly and so helpful. I wish we were locals so we could visit the place more frenquently. It's a lovely establishment, with truly great food.
Caffeine Palace is hands down the best place I enjoyed meals & coffee at when visiting Sydney on holiday last week.
The food is divine, healthy and filling to boot - my favourite being the Ricotta/Salmon/Avo toast. They also serve great Toby's Estate coffee.
Most importantly the owners, who cook, serve and barrista themselves, are so friendly and welcoming, you'll find yourself coming back multiple times like I did. Keep up the good work x! - Alix
