3.5 it’s good but too sweet. The sauce is tin sauce, which is not very tasty. However, I like the outdoor seating, when the weather is lovely, warm yourself up from the super freezing office.
Favourite banh mi in Pyrmont. A small simple menu that sticks to essentials. Ice lemongrass ginger tea brings me up to one hundred and forty words.
Had a mango smoothie and a traditional pork bun. Yum! The bun was so fresh and crispy, which what really separates a good banh mi to a great one. The mango smoothie was refreshing and actually tastes like mango I.e. With a hint of sourness not just sweet and syrupy like some cafes. Reasonably priced and fuss-free friendly service with lovely outside seating to enjoy the meal with my trusted companion, Thor the husky. Will definitely be back to try more smoothies and maybe try their vermicelli salad, or pho, or rolls..... 😋
Our local Vietnamese go to. I rate the home made sausage and deep fried spring rolls as my 'must haves'. The baguettes are fine but have slowly noticed the price increase from $6 to $7.50 over my time here. When you can still get as good quality for $5 elsewhere it is withholding me from a perfect score
New post 2017 - Came back here on the weekend to satisfy my viet pancakes & noodle salad bowl cravings. The pancakes has improved even more! Extra crispy, more salad & more meat (I ordered the pork & prawn). The noodle salad was good however, I do prefer the way the meat is cooked more at their other branch in Chinatown.
The order was for takeaway & presented very well. If your around the area this is where you go for viet pancakes!
Old post 2015 - Great flavoured soup base for the pho. I can finally satisfy my viet pancakes craving & get it here, nice & crispy, only thing is it should have a bit more pork & prawn.
Haven't eaten in the physical restaurant because of lockdown, but did get their contact-free grazing boxes delivered and it was delicious! Super happy with what I got, I hope after covid restrictions ease they still continue to make the nem nuong boxes
Lovely little place popular with locals serving up freshly made bread rolls, vermicelli salads and summer rolls on order. Service is great and always pleasant during the times I've visited. Recommend the spring roll vermicelli salad and the chicken bread roll, both fantastic and delicious! Location is right near the bus stop so convenient for a getaway or drop in :)
Good coffe,good and cheap food. They make really good pho and the best pork and chicken roll. Service is great too.
I appreciate that they heat up your bread roll and use real meat with everything. Not like others they put more veges than the meat.
And very generous with the fish sauce. Try everything here and u won't regret it.
Quite decent. It has nothing on Pho Ann in Bankstown but having said that, this is still really nice and highly recommend giving it a go.
I eat lunch here all the time. Best Pho I've had. The owner is lovely . Super consistent and tasty Pho and rice paper roll combo is my go to.
Brought a friend here and he loved the Pork roll (he's fussy).
