At tea In Chippendale has open up for yumcha! But have recently expanded their menu by adding malatang and Chongqing noodle soups!! Perfect comfort food on a cold day. Don’t think you will be disappointed at their noodle soup!

Had an amazing yum chaaa afternoon here with 3 friends! We covered the tables with dishes and different teas and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are dedicated and each dish is intricately presented :)
Step into this modern tea and dumpling house to enjoy some freshly brewed teas over a variety of dumplings. This is the perfect place for a catch up as it’s conveniently located inside the Central Park development in Chippendale.
We tried the following:
Crab and spinach dim sum.
Mushroom dumpling.
XO scallop dumpling.
Combo dumpling platter
Chou Zhou dumpling - one of my faves, loved the peanuts inside
Red bean bun - not too sweet, and a perfect balance of filling and bread.
And we drank (tea of course!):
Jasmine black tea.
Fruit tea - smelt great and has a lovely fragrant smell.
The venue inside is beautiful, there is a lot of attention to detail to the furnishings and the serving dishes and cutlery used, even the chopsticks and bamboo dumpling steamers have the logo.

@at_tea_duo is in Chippendale and I loved it !
It’s a restaurant that pays attention to details: from the relaxed environment (music, ornaments, wall pictures and even branded chopsticks 🥢) to the flavour in every tea and dumplings offered.
What this dumpling feast was all about:

Fillings were really tasty ! They’re a bit addictive :) my favourite were the mushroom, the pork and one of the vegetable ones in the combo dumplings.
Definitely a place to come back to with friends and share a big (yet light) meal together.
Or to come and have a quiet time by yourself and drink some delicious tea while reading a book, it’s such a zen space!
The food here is delicious and I really love the atmosphere. I especially enjoyed their crab and spinach dumplings. Also, my favourite drink there was a pretty pink beverage called the Sydney Sweetheart, it was so tasty!
| Central Park | Tea Duo |📍Cute decor, amazing tea and steaming fresh dumplings are the things that popped in my mind. It was raining at the time I had lunch here, but it was worth the visit. Located opposite UTS, which is perfect for hungry students. Tea duo have some great choices which I got the chance to try out.

Cute little venue in the new Duo building in Chippendale. Yum cha dishes are plated up very nicely with petala etc and flavour is good. Lots of bespoke tea and a few interesting cocktail teas as well.
Yum Cha is my favourite weekend ritual, so it was perfect opportunity to venture out and try somewhere new. At Tea is conveniently located at Duo Central Park, Chippendale (about 10 min walk from central station, near Sheraton Four Points).
At Tea is a boutique Yum Cha restaurant, that is redefining your Yum Cha experience with matching teas.
Everything is made to order, so you can pick at your tummy’s content without waiting on the yum cha trolley to come around. We dined on a selection of dumplings: prawn hargow, xiao long bao, shumai, jiaozi and wonton soup. And enjoyed perfectly accompanied hot teas: orange pu’er and chrysanthemum & wolfberries and cold brews: Sydney sweetheart. We thoroughly enjoyed the tea and dumpling selection, my highlight was the chilli/xo sauce dumplings and fried chicken.
This is one Yum Cha dining experience you’ll want to treat yourself and the family to. Big thank you to @at_tea_duo for having me over💕
