Wonderful coffee located right opposite my workplace. However, it is considerably pricey but I guess it's justified due to its prime city location. The staff are incredibly friendly too.

I stopped in for a quick lobby lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the food and coffee. The tofu salad had a deliciously balanced spicy sauce and will definitely be back for that again.

The barista insisted I laud this place as "miscegenation nation" but I didn't believe him. He didn't really, but he certainly pointed out that his black skinned companion had helped in the preparation of our morning coffee. And good tasting coffee it is indeed. There are wonderfully substantial fitouts to be found in town and SOHO Espresso features a fitout for the ages, complete with some abstract expressionism on the wall that would make Helen Frankenthaler blush. Friendly staff, cafe window packed to the brim like a Roman square. In the lobby of 175.
