Great ambience. We were very happy that this restaurant doesn't have the loud music so conversations flowed freely.
The food was good, although the meat dish for both mains was over cooked.
The service was friendly although the waiter was quite rushed and had to be asked to please bring back our wine glasses as we still had wine in them.
Parking is very difficult as it was a Saturday night. Best to book in a car spot at the various parking places online where possible especially for weekends
The view is beautiful.
Well worth going to Lavana.
I had lunch with my aunt today (Tuesday) weather was terrible. We came here at 12:30pm. It was empty aside from a couple.
We both ordered the main dish - steak. It was $38. I really didn't expect anything special but boy was I wrong.
The gravy on the steak was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection upon our request (medium rare)
They had a chili on there which when sliced added really good heat.
The steak was thick too. Like a big round ball.
It was amazing. Mashed potatoes were cooked really well too.
A really classy and hearty dish. Great location with a view too.
Lovely spot to have a dinner before the show at the theatre. We shared few tapas plates : Seared Scallops, veal meatballs, Green Bean & Baby Potatoes, pitas with dips and olives and all dishes were delicious. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back
Had a very pleasant evening there tonight. So much that we are going back tomorrow for dinner. The bread with olive oil and balsamic was good. The potatoes and green beans dish was excellent. Great flavor with mixture of slices and the green beans were well cooked, not hard like they usually are. Yummy. Topped off with crumbled apple pie with ice cream was fantastic. The chai and mocha were perfect as well.
I enjoyed our meal here. The duck was well cooked and tasty. Good location on the water abd good wine selection. The ravioli was also very good. Staff were friendly. Good place to have dinner before the show
Amazing service, terrific food. The desserts were disappointing (lava cake and apple crumble) as the entree (wild mushrooms) and mains (barramundi) tasted so incredible that the dessert was expected to be on the same level but it didn't match up. Will be going again to enjoy the food, and the attentive and lovely wait staff.
Had a lovely experience on my Wife's Birthday. Enjoyed the Ambiance and the staff were very friendly. We had the Lamb chops, Lobster Ravioli, Pomme di Paris and we're extremely satisfied with our meal accompanied by some non alcoholic drinks that the restaurant specially made for us.
Plus note for us, They advised us that their Chicken, Lamb and Beef is Halal.
A nice chill wharf water front atmosphere, and friendly staff.
Came here for lunch and I ordered the burger which was large but unfortunately not very nice. The patty was more rissole than patty, and I think there were too many conflicting, overwhelming flavours (especially garlic?). And as you can see the burger bun swallows the patty, making it very difficult to eat (first bites didn't get any patty lol). The pickles weren't quite pickled enough, and the burger sauce missed the mark.
My friend got the poke bowl and said it was delicious though, so that's good at least, the Prosecco was delish, and as mentioned the staff were really nice. I'd come back here for sure and try out the other menu options. The tapas looked good.
Also, very cheeky to charge "sparkling water" (generally sparkling mineral water) prices for soda water in a reused still water bottle :-P
