Fantastic special fried rice and combo chow mein. Special fried rice is not like other cheap versions that add peas and cheap ham or luncheon meat as fillers. Rice is filled with prawns, char siu pork, and other meats. Fried rice you can taste the nice smokey taste which is a result of the heat of the wok at high temperature referred too " The dragons breath" from the high flames hitting the wok. Staff always throw in fortune cookies free when I ask for my children ( I have 5 kids) Always accomodating and staff are friendly . No I am not paid to leave a review. I'm a new local to Glebe who decided to give these guys a try.I used to travel 40 mins out west to go and get genuine fried for my family now I don't travel anymore because Wok Express is as close as you will get when ordering Special combo fried rice. My kids agree with me too. I highly recommend. It's a little bit further to travel out too against all the other restaurants in the main part of Glebe. But that's a good thing. Kids menu is also affordable at $6 3 options to choose from with with decent sized portions which is worth the value in a box all kids meals come with chips. Check them out ! No this is not a paid review. Just a genuine foodie who loves great food and will leave honest reviews for when I encounter great food.Not sure why these guys have gotten bad reviews, I almost made the same mistake of not ordering from here.
