Thinly Slice Chinese style jerky, that originally for Fujian, China and very famous in Singapore, and usually eaten during Chinese Mew Year.
This Bakkwa or process bbq pork that brings back memory of my childhood, when my mom used to feed me with this sweet, salty and hint of charcoal flavour.
You can get this beautiful delicacy for $4.80/100 gram or you can get as many slices/pieces as you want and they will weight it on scale.
Haven't had this grilled meat since I was a kid. Felt nolstalgic and decided to grab two pieces. Got a pork and beef. I preferred texture of beef but partner preferred pork. Both soft and very little difference really. It's slightly sweet. A nice small snack on the go. Just as good as I remembered them to be.

You’ll be hard pressed to find another shop which sells ‘bak kwa’ or chinese style meat jerky in sydney. Run by a hub n wife team, they do a mean bak kwa. As good as it gets in sydney though not as good as those you get in spore jak or malaysia. They also sell various tidbits, worth a visit.
Browsing around Chinatown area and happily discovered that this place was trading on the public holiday (had been quite a few times that it was closed for holiday). Went straight in and selected my favourite jerky and preserved olives. While I was doing that, the lure and smell from the on-site roasted pork jerky made me turned around and asked for a piece of freshly roasted pork jerky......Hmm! It was soooooo nice!
Excellent BBQ pork snack. We walked past this small shop over a year ago and decided to try it. Since then, we've been back regularly due to the excellent flavour. Our favourite is the chilli pork, and it's definitely worth trying if you've never had this style of meat before.
They're takeaway only and sell a range of flavours of bakkwa (Singaporean name for BBQ meat). You'll get a roughly 15x15cm square of beef, pork or chicken for about three bucks. It's all cooked fresh, so available flavours will vary depending on what they're cooking at the time. The owners are a husband-and-wife team who are excellent at cooking and selling their product. Our female half (who is Singaporean) agrees that the flavour is so good that it's equal to the standard you'll get in Singapore itself. Highly recommended.
Super smokey and BBQ spicy flavoured pork! Super delicious!
The best street food you can grab in Chinatown 😊
As not able to travel to Spore and MY this lunar new year due to Covid19, I finally gave the BBQ pork a try and I wasn't disappointed. Great tasting, fresh and well cooked. Friendly service. Cash was preferred.
Little shop been here for many years with Delicious BBQ pork and beef can compare to what i had in Asian if not better, they also have other things like dried plums and squid.
Friendly family business. Real flame grilled pork jerky made daily, with a good ranch of jerky/snack varieties.

Excellent selection of dried meat products and snacks. Sold by weight. Accepts cash and card. Minimum spend required for card payments. Very small shop but excellent range. About a 10 minute walk to the train station, right across from Market City. Staff are nice. The fresh BBQ chilli pork is my favourite.
Very good and tasty, always come here when I'm in the area, chilli pork and beef jerky aren't really chilli though
Great tasting with a nice sweetness.
