My rating is purely based on one dish only.
Malai kofta.
This restaurant introduced me to this amazing dish, and it's the only restaurant I've come across that makes it this good. Delicious, buttery and full of earthy spices.
Their other dishes are good too, but if you're going to get anything it has to be malai kofta.
Fantastic flavours
Reasonably priced
BYO only
Menu is carefully chilli rated 🌶 🌶 🌶 so you order according to your liking
Staff are super friendly and extremely polite.
Incredible tasting food, great curries and varied indian dishes. Will return if ever in this part of Sydney. Service is excellent and really nice people.
Service is very good, and I always come back here for the amazing butter chicken. Environment is peaceful, and calming. One of my favourite indian restaurants.
Always polite and the food, especially the Mehfil Sizzler is a marvel ! so so tasty ! my favorite is the Mango Chicken - just amazing - Highly recommend.
This place has really good Indian. The eggplant dish and tikka masala are my favourites. The nan bread is on the small side and don't not forget to bring cash for 10% of their takeaway.
Very nice service - staff always seem genuinely pleased to see customers, even when the place is full. Although probably not the best Indian food in the world, it's the best on the North Shore of Sydney. Butter chicken is thick and flavoursome, the adraki lamp very tasty. I love their vegetarian dishes (Aviel can make anything taste good, even cauliflower!), and the Lassi. This place is a comfort food place for my friends and I, with one of my friends always having to go here when she comes to visit from out near Wagga Wagga. It's an old favourite, and still something to look forward to after years of going here.
BEST Butter Chicken!!. I LOVE their butter chicken. It's the creamiest and most tasty that I have ever had and keeps me going for more! Also love their mango kulfti!!
Service is great, food is delicious!
We have always had a good meal at Mehfil's with some very interesting items on their menus. Recently, hubby had the Lamb Balti which was delicious. It is a fairly spicy dish and really hit the spot. I had the Prawn Malabari. Again, a very tasty dish and my only complaint would be it needed more prawns to go with the delicious curry.
The food here is always delicious and is very well priced. Normally we get take away but when we have eaten here the staff were nice and attentive.
The best butter chicken you'll ever have! All meals are absolutely delicious and the staff are all great. Thanks for a delish dinner :)
We tried this local Indian restaurant recently for a quick dinner. We ordered their samosa, lamb adrakki, tandoori pepper prawns, beef vindaloo curry and a few naan breads to dip into the curry. We ordered cheese, garlic and makhani naan breads and all of them are good. The curry was hot / spicy but we love it. The star for the dinner was the lamb cutlets which are very yummy.
The ambience and services from staff members are good for local suburban restaurant. The menu is quite extensive though I wish they have dosa on it. Prices are a bit premium but expected for its Sydney North Shore location. You can pay by credit cards, including AMEX with no surcharge.
Excellent food. They serve Authentic Biriyani, from the aroma to the taste! If you want to try authentic Indian biriyani
Always great food and incredibly nice delivery people!! Will continue to always order my Indian food from here :)
Amazing food and service. The heavenly aromas make you salivate, and you really can't beat that taste!
I'm an arab, all the arab food around this area is trash, but these Indian ppl from who knows where, have the best high end quality and quantity of food for it's price which beats almost every 99% of restaurants I've ever been to. I really recommend the butter chicken as it's just amazing and whatever choice of rice you want.
Crikey!
Met some old friends here as it's half-way between us. Really didn't expect much but I was SO wrong!
Some of the best Indian food I have had in 20years no . Great service, really freindly staff, the owner was serving alongside them and they all stayed while we were the last customers to leave - no hassle or pressure to eat-pay-leave.
Freshest food, not greasy at all, very flavour-ful. Everything was perfectly balanced with a host of flavours and none of that typical 'kill 'em with chillies and days old ghee - low cost Indian fallbacks.
We will definitely go there again for our next Indian - bit of a trip past a million Indians from the CBD to Gordon but so well worth the effort. I'm writing this the morning after and would happily go straight back there for lunch.
