Love this place! Whether it’s take away or eat in, it’s always a treat. Friendly staff and some damn good food!

The Combination Birds Nest is one of the best dishes I’ve had! It is so delicious and the crispy texture from the nest makes it all that better. The Mongolian Chicken came out sizzling, was super flavoursome and was finished with a tasty sauce😃
Our favorite local Chinese restaurant.... great service, friendly staff.... delicious food... relaxed atmosphere.... the go to restaurant for a yummy, well priced quick meal!!!
Went here on a spur of the moment decision last night. Within minutes of sitting down, the waiter took our drink order and brought us hot towels.
We then ordered duck spring rolls and seafood lettuce delight for entree. Crispy duck skin with plum sauce, satay prawns and vegetables and fried rice for mains. The spring rolls were huge, so glad I shared with someone. The duck main was tender and delicious, as were the prawns and fresh veggies. The fried rice was the most surprising, a "real" fried rice with chunks of egg through it along with lots of filling and lightly fried. Probably a little more $$ wise, but we did have seafood and duck!!!
We will be back!
Me and my girlfriend came here on a quiet Thursday night based on word of word of mouth. First of all, what stood out was how clean the venue was, and how attentive the staff were. We had a very polite, helpful and friendly waiter. The food was served fresh and very hot. Portion size was great value for money. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and she found the spring roles and dumplings to a very high regard. Over all, I'd recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Crystal Dragon is without a doubt the best Chinese food you'll eat in the Templestowe area. Leaves it's rival up the road, Golden Dragon, for dead.
We always come here. The staff are wonderful so friendly. The food is always so fresh and gets better every time. The honey pepper steak is the best dish. If I had to pick one negative things about this place, it would probably be that I don't live close enough.
Been to this local many times and had take-away often. Fresh food, consistently great flavours, very clean, friendly younger staff. Just a brillliant local all round.
Tasty chinese food tucked away in the heart of Macedon Square. It is a small restaurant with great service and friendly staff. Prices are in range with the local area. The only criticism would be that each of the dishes we had were reasonably similar with the same vegetable combo in each. Other than that, a good find!
Well it was Fathers day today and since both I and dad love our Chinese we tried Crystal Dragon.
Wasn't that busy considering it was Fathers Day, but plenty of staff on.
Service wasn't quick to start with, thought one of the staff would have come over and checked for drinks but had to call them over.
Staff were polite and friendly.
As a group of 10 we had steamed and fried dim sims for entrée, which were really nice however small.
They were actually a chicken type rather than traditional pork.
Mains had Cantonese fillet which was yummy, along with garlic prawns which my wife loved (and she doesn't normally like Chinese food), and lemon chicken was really good too.
Dad had Cointreau Duck which was different, however no bones and was tender.
Disappointed however that the kids were looking forward to the fried ice-cream, but they had run out.
Would have thought they would have some on board as they were not busy.
Substitute fried banana fritter was a very good substitute.
All in all good food.
Awesome Chinese food and marvellous service and staff... The fried rice is genuine like fried rice of years ago! The Sweet and Sour Fish is superb!!!
Better than average Chinese food. Lovely service. Prefer take-away to eating in as I'm not a huge fan of the set-up. Still the food is good and I guess that's the main thing!
