What a find!!! After being bitterly disappointed after a three time stint at a local chinese restaurant in Eltham, the Painted Dragon has restored my faith in tasty fresh traditional chinese fare. If you are searching for the best family service and food then look no further. Here it is.!!!!

Their dumplings, vegetarian spring rolls are delicious.

We pick up takeaway from this place at least once a week. Great service and delicious food. We're really picky with our food (no added msg etc) and the restaurant caters to us. We used to go to golden dragon, but felt their food quality declined and prices went up after they were sold to new owners. Painted Lantern is much better value in my opinion.
