We came here during the festival of the flowers. The restaurant is located upstairs. I have a feeling that the restaurant specialises in Korean BBQ as it seems like most people were having that. We instead chose a whole serve of fried chicken, sweet soy beef rice, sweet soy beef rice cakes, hot stone mix, spicy pork noodles, poached pork belly, and Tteok-Galbi.
I think the most outstanding was the poached pork belly. It literally melts in your mouth. All other dishes were good but not extraordinary.
Staff were friendly. The place was clean and tidy. It was a bit pricey for the serving size but considering we were in Toowoomba, I think this would be one of the better Korean restaurants.
Ate here on a busy Saturday night and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Korean cheesy corn to start and it was delicious. The bbq meats (we had the pork belly, teriyaki chicken and the beef bulgogi) were tasty and the marinades delicious. We had a lot of fun cooking our own food and making wraps out of the lettuce and picked radish that accompanied the bbq dishes.
Good value for money with 2 entrees, 3 bbq dishes, rice, 4 beers and a soft drink coming in at just over $100 with the three of us walking away very full.
Love this place!! great food, must try the spicy pork collar!!
