Had my usual rare eye fillet with baked potatoes and green pepper sauce. The steak was overcooked - closer to medium than medium rare. But it still tasted fantastic. What more can I say, great location, service and consistent quality steak.

Visited for a quick bowl of chips. The staff were so lovely and got them out so quickly!
The interior was surprisingly cosy and intimate. We’ll definitely be back for a full meal.
Partner and I have high expectations of Squires and each time they deliver.
The ambiance was romantic with dimmed lights. The staff are so knowledgeable and honest, easy to get along with. The calibre of meat used is always high quality and the sauces are so tasty. I ordered the eye fillet with mushroom sauce and chips, boyf ordered the black Angus eye fillet. He kept saying it melted in his mouth, I wanted to try however being pregnant and it being rare I couldn’t but will definitely be back after the bub.
We ordered the Chocolate Fudge Cake for dessert and my lord, I did not want to share. The fudge sauce was amazing I would suggest this for your chocolate-lovers and sweet tooths!
We enjoyed our time here and are so happy with the consistency between each site!
Excellent steaks cooked perfectly! All staff were exeptinaly friendly and welcoming. Kids- friendly restaurant and offer good kids food options. Highly recommended.
I don't want to say too much to create an unrealistic expectation, but the food is of a very high calibre and the sauces are amazing. Prior to going there I was not a fan of blue cheese, but their blue cheese sauce has swayed me
The meals were very nice and s good size. The salad was the only downfall when paying a pretty price an iceberg lettuce does not really cut it. The atmosphere was lovely and you could have a conversation. Could not fault the service it was exemplary even the trainee was great.
Would definitely come back for a special occasion.
Hi! We went to Squires Loft Torquay a few months after opening after Parkers Steak House in Geelong dropped their game.

Menus are very very similar and the concept is the same, each component from the menu costs extra on top of your steak. Pricing is also high but equal to each other.
I say this but the night we ate here the ribs were good, tasty and easily came off the bone. Our steaks we cooked to our request and other than being super loud and struggling to have a conversation at our own table it was ok.
Service was good considering it was busy and we didn't get to our table until 9pm on a Saturday.
Parking is better, easier at Squires and the outdoor tables are a real plus as long as you can avoid someone smoking.
Squires is the latest shiny toy so will be back, its comfort food that we know what to expect.
Been here twice and both times have been really nice! Ive gotten the eye fillet steak both times and it's been great both times! Must for all steak lovers 🙂 if getting entree and drinks along with a main can get pricey but worth it for a nice night with guaranteed nice food!
Great service and atmosphere, all the waitresses are very attentive and friendly. The servings are huge and the drinks menu offers plenty of beer choices.
For a chain restaurant this venue is absolute standout. The ambience is just right, our food was cooked to perfection, and my wife is a very particular medium/rare kinda of gal and the steak was spot on. The ribs I had was just full of flavour and falling of the bone.
But if you are not into steaks or even food in general come here for the service. The hostess was the most polite and helpful person we have encountered for a while. But then we were introduced to our waitress...and she was just an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!

Great relaxed atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff.
Had a bit of a mix-up with my steak order but our lovely waitress was on the ball immediately regarding it and was very accommodating for the mishap which was in turn rectified quickly and efficiently. Extremely excellent service overall.
Cocktails were amazing too!

The service here was impeccable. The wait staff were always checking on us and so friendly. Food was great. Lovely atmosphere. Desserts are a must!
Usually, I don't give 5 star reviews, but this was really quite an experience! We had the platter for 4 and the ribs were a perfect start to the night. Chips are best enjoyed fresh, the wait staff (Izzy especially) were professional, friendly and lovely overall.

I knew it would be good but by the beard of Odin I didn’t realise it would be this good. The atmosphere was like the eve of New Year, people chatting, laughing and singing. We were greeted by staff that were extremely joyful in seeing us regaling us merrily about their day. The venue felt warm and inviting. The waiter was so knowledgeable about cows. From birth to slaughter. If there was a quiz show about beef this young man would surely win. The food arrived………my apologies for the delay I had to wipe my salivating mouth. Even thinking about these scrumptious bovine delights makes my mouth water.
My knife fell through the pure succulence of the meaty dish, melted in my mouth and then satisfied my tummy.
This experience has got to be the greatest of my life. And I’ve got three kids.

This time it was for a 50th birthday celebration of 17 people, the staff looked after us really well and were patient with our constant delays with chatting too much... and the birthday boy had a great time #winning

I rarely eat steak but made an exception based on reviews for this restaurant. I had the eye fillet with vegetables and a sticky date pudding. Absolutely delicious. Service and ambience was good too.
