Highly recommend!!! Great noodles, great values, nice and juicy fried pork chops cutlet, good spot and easy to park.
Tried boneless fish noodle with fish base soup, soup was good, light but tasty , with fish cake, fish ball, boneless cheek meat and deep fried fish skin served with egg noodle, it had different texture and flavour with each ingredients but all balanced, will come back to try other flavours (beef will be the next )
Have not been back nearly one year so re-visited last night. It was not a busy night but there was only one young gentleman running the show then the workload was just fit.
Ordered a bowl of pork cutlet noodle soup with extra soy sauce egg and a bowl of trout fish noodle soup with extra octopus and curry fish balls.
Both noodle soup came within reasonable time-frame. Soup bases of each noodles carry its own character. Pork cutlet deserves thumb up on its crispiness. I always love that it really serves trout fish fillets and they are in large portion. Additional dishes are all tasteful and come with good CP.
This dinner is very impressive.

Still feeling peckish after my noodle lunch at Malay House, I walk in here to fill up! The Tobiko Wontons ($11.90) come with Egg Noodles. There are 8 different types of noodles available. The four Wontons, Noodles and broth are good. A side dish of Crispy Skin Chicken ($5) is tasty but a tad dry.
Overall, the food here is good and prices are reasonable. The complimentary Winter Melon drink is very refreshing. Thanks Guys!
Found this restaurant by accident with my partner. We were meant to go to the sushi train across from it but that place was too full. Glad We found this place highly recommend if you are into noodle soup! Love a fried pork in pork stock with ramen. Also the cheesy sausages on the side and fried gyoza
Akai Ushi is a new restaurant in Springwood having only been open for 3 months. I ordered the Laksa fusion noodle soup with vegetarian stock and WOW delicious. Smooth and spicy with lots of fried tofu bean sprouts and both hokkien and vermicelli noodles. A big bowl full for $11.90 an absolute bargain and extremely delicious. Thanks very much. SARDS.
Located in Underwood shopping complex to near wokawoka, this place caught my eye when I went there last time.
Seemed the shop is still new as touchpad menu was not installed yet.
Ordered Wagyu cutlet curry rice ($14.90) and my partner ordered signature dish:Borscht with sliced Wagyu beef ($11.90). Oh and to add curry fish ball as 'appetizer'. ($3)
Interestingly you can choose your on base if you wish with 7 different soup base. One caught my eye was 'Milky Lavender' soup base but I was too afraid to try out this time 🤯 You can also choose type of noodle from 8 choices which is a nice way to customise noodle to your liking.
After ordering at the counter, food arrived fairly quickly.
Curry fish ball we ordered as a side was okay.
My curry tasted good with okay quality of beef considering the price.
Noodle soup was too sweet for my liking but my partner liked big two slices of beef on top of noodle.
This place is a great addition to ever expanding Underwood complex which is becoming a great dining options for Asian cuisine.
Overall I would rate this place 3.5/5 and will probably try out again to check out other things on menu.
Nice noodle soup , a variety of noddles to choose from. The bbq pork is very tender and tasty. Laksa soup is my favorite so far. Great costumer service by the way.
Really good food! Tasty and high quality. I order Laksa and some Pork Cutlet, very juicy!! But, if they can serve a bit more noodles I will mark 5 stars rated!!
