How on earth the squid ink risotto is so highly rated I dont understant. The steak is amazing though, how it was so charred yet perfectly medium rare on the inside is amazing.

I like Rockpool Bar and Grill. It’s classy, it’s big but feels intimate, the waiters are nice, and the menu is varied. It has a reputation for the best steaks in town, and I must say that the steaks here are exceptional, however, there is so much more to the menu. You can't fault Rockpool for their ambience. As soon as you walk through the front doors you're transported in their world. My medium sirloin was cooked to perfection. The bearnaise, kipflers and red cabbage salad were delectable accompaniments to the main affair. If you have room, I highly recommend the Creme Caramel - it was light, silky smooth and not overly sweet.
I took a friend here for his 40th Birthday, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The service was impeccable and I still think of that perfectly cooked ribeye. Not remotely inexpensive, but you should be aware of this anyway. I spent a pretty penny, and it was worth every cent.
Fresh produce, flavours always there,great service. Too many options to choose from. Portion size are small and pricy for what you get. Will go back
Amazing food, honestly one of the best restaurants i have ever eaten at. The decor and theme are gorgeous and the atmosphere is sophisticated and refined.
Went to Rockpool for our anniversary last night. I ordered the T-bone steak & my partner had the rib eye, as well as the garlic rosemary potatoes & creamed corn to share. The creamed corn was honestly one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The potatoes were pretty standard & our steaks were cooked to perfection. For dessert we had then pavlova & the peanut chocolate gatuer, they both were incredible! Because it was our anniversary they gave us a little surprise too which was lovely. Only not giving 5 stars because the service could’ve been better but otherwise great experience.
Lovely ambience and wait staff. Meals were good but not out of the world given the price. Food service times were quick and wait staff are always friendly.
