I had dinner on St Patrick’s Day along with 33 others and the food was amazing! The staff were fantastic and quick to take orders and deliver. Nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend this Hogs Breath Restaurant.
I've been to most hogs breath on the Southside of Brisbane and must say the VP is the best. Prompt service, friendly staff and consistent food 😎

I dined here with my mum in law, it was Melbourne Cup day but thankfully no drunks around it was kind of late approx 7pm by the time we got there. Maybe the drunks were done for the day.
We wasted no time picking our preferred meal we both went for the steak/rib combo. I downed a couple of quick beers while waiting for my meal and ordered a bottle of the 2016 Mud House Pinot Noir with our food.
The service was really great and I would give the review 5 x stars based on the service alone. My meal was excellent except the steak was on the ‘well done’ side of medium. I didn’t complain as the flavour was really good & the ribs were awesome. Mum in law enjoyed her meal and finished it off while I had a good stab at finishing the excellent Pinot Noir, I didn’t, I’m doing that tonight while writing this review.
These have been tough times for the hospitality industry, a lot of restaurants will not re-open. I am happy to give 4 stars and it would have been 5 except for the slightly overdone steak but in all honesty it was a really great meal served up with brilliant service and I’m so glad Hog’s gas come out the other side of a very bleak time for restaurants.
Mum in law & I don’t venture out to restaurants much but we’re happy we chose Hog’s on Melbourne Cup night.
Thanks for the awesome service & great wine selection as well as the juicy ribs and awesome curly fries. The steak was OK I ate it all. No complaint but 4 stars instead of 5 & I hope to be back again soon.

Huge Rocky road desert to share. Cake a bit dense and the cream was frozen. I can only assume they are all made then frozen then served. Very tasty however and service fantastic..
Its true I've had a couple of less than great experiences here in the past. There's been average service and on one occasion the ran out of steak. But the last few times I have been here they have been pretty good. Service has improved and food is consistent.
