Great little snack bar with tables and chairs for dining in. You can watch you're food being prepared. The steak sandwich with egg and cheese I had was really good, as were the potato scallops.
Really great food and service! The man who runs this place (Bob I guess!) is so good! Always had a smile on and is so friendly. Great service. We've had the fish and chips in the past and it is amazing, the fish was big and delicious and so well priced.
Just stopped in for some ice cream this time round and the scoops are big (which is exactly what you look for in ice cream!) And it tastes so good! Theres a chicken outside that will come say hello and she had a chick with her which just topped off the great vibe from this place. Everytime we're out that way we will always stop at Aussie Bob's from now on!
Saw the sign for homemade potato scallops when driving past. Immediate U-turn and boy was it worth it! Proper, crisp, golden, hot, gorgeous potato scallops. Spotlessly clean cafe, super friendly staff. Ate them by the side of the river opposite, watching the ducks and finished off with the wild blackberries growing nearby. Absolute heaven.
Very welcoming and friendly lady that served us, even though I broke her Comm bank 'Albert' EFTPOS. Food is awesome and well priced. Home made potato scallop is the best I've ever had. Stop in here on your way to/from the falls.
A must for anyone heading through to or back from Russell Falls! Glad we came across this Aussie Bob's (there are two others which are great also). This one was so awesome, we went twice today. Lunch on the way through and afternoon thickshakes on the way out of Russell Falls. Excellent food, great prices.Lovely owners Craig and Sammy. 😊👍
Good fish, decent chips. They also had flexible opeing hours which helps in this area. Looking at the other reviews Samuel might want to calm down a bit and try more potato cakes
Best potato scallops in the greater Hobart area! Get anything that’s battered, it’s light and crispy and YUM! Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time 😋
Great service, amazing food, I had a burger and chips, it was cooked fresh right in front of you, awesome clean kitchen! Definitely will be calling in again!
