Rated the bulgogi beef jap chae.. one of the best I’ve had. Kim chi pancake was crispy but a bit oily. The pork bulgogi was also yummy with the char flavour. Soy and sweet chilli chicken were both nice but I’ve had better in Perth. Overall it was an enjoyable meal.
Good authentic Korean food. Brought some of my overseas friends from Singapore and they said Food tasted better then the Korean food in Sg. Great complement given that there are so many good Korean restaurants in Sg.
Alcohol beverage is actually available
Tried various Korean dishes - soup, pancake, fried chicken & bingsoo. They are all delicious & authentic. Always see heaps of Korean customer there. Then you know you are in the right place. Love their variety option of everything.
The food are great
Best pork belly i tried in perth!
Good jabchae
And bulgogi also the seafood pancake
Waitress were great except one i think not smiling at all
But rest are great
Quite busy for a Monday night. Ordered their spicy pork sizzling plate which was delicious. Their hot and spicy fried chicken was a good amount of kick plus a hint of sweetness. However I did not like the cheesy snow fried chicken, it was not real cheese they use but some sort of powder on top and I'm just not used to the taste of it, my friend found it okay though. Also, they don't provide gloves just fyi.
Food is good and great value. Service can be a bit slow at times when the restaurant is full (you can tell that the boss is saving cost- only have 1 or 2 waitress even at peak time). Not sure why but they are always out of jajangmyeon whenever we order it.
I'm one of the regulars at Hansik and have always had good experiences. I have to agree that their service is a bit slow but all the waitresses that I came across were friendly and accommodating. Their food is above average. Their spicy pork bibimbap is a must have because it is unique and tasty. I don't think you can find this spicy pork flavour anywhere else in Perth. Both their kimchi and seafood pancakes are cooked to perfection. Other dishes to recommend are ginseng chicken, soft tofu stew, bulgogi stew ( a bit sweet at first but I requested less sweet the next time and it was perfect!) and original fried chicken. Their bingsus are amazing too but order to share because it comes in a large bowl. Parking is easy, restaurant is big and cozy. If not because of food coming out a bit too slow, I would have given them 5 out of 5.
Fried chicken is yummy. Service can be slow because they can get busy. Very popular amongst young families as they can accommodate big groups. Bibimbap and Soft tofu seafood soup and rice are good too.
This place is a must-go-to in the neighborhood - given you are patient and focusing on food.
Food should be rated more than 4 both on quality, taste and portion. Mind you that they are not that cheap, but the food is worth the price tag. There is no matching within 15 km radius food-wise.
decor is decent 4 for a suburban restaurant.
The letdown is service. Not that the waitresses are not welcoming or informative, rather how this place is run at FOH. Put it simple, they just need more waitresses most of the days 6-8pm, go grab a few casual student there your problem solved quick. BOH may be a bit different as most of the times I visited I didn't experience "extended" wait, rather acceptable waiting period --maybe I'm just more relaxed and was expecting longer wait given the location and appearance of the place
