Had a tea and their salmon eggs. Food was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced, service was lovely. They are courteous enough to ask if it’s OK to have other people sharing at your table, which of course we were happy with, yet it’s nice to be asked! I then had an espresso and it was very good. I’ll come back!
Stumbled upon this cafe on accident on a public holiday when he place I intended to go was closed. This cute cafe features an old cinema-style sign and large courtyard and lots of vegetarian/veganisable options. I tried my two go-to Melbourne cafe dishes, the baked eggs and the haloumi and veg fritters. Both were delicious and decently sized for the price. The fritters were extra crispy and topped with a delicious romesco and tasted nearly caramelised. The baked eggs were pretty standard but topped with a minted labna rather than feta or goats cheese, which was a welcome swap. Whether combined or enjoyed seperately, these dishes make a great brunch in Williamstown.
Coffee was great. The trout beetroot dish was perfect with all flavours blended in so well. Only the vegan BLT was a let down. It was too dry.
