This place does the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. Staff are so friendly and make such good food.
So, there is a reason why Hobsons Bay Fish and Chip shop is still running strong after so many years while others have come and gone. They place is always busy during lunch and dinner because locals trust the establishment.
Even with the introduction of "new style" FnC shops to the area with their "panko crumbed fish or "soft shell Crab" , this place still has the best value for money Fish & Chips in town. Chips are always crisp and not oily and service is quick
Best battered fish I have ever had. Good burgers as well as dim sims, potato cakes and nice chips. Well priced too. My fo to for fish and chips.

Love this place. My in-laws have been coming here since they were young. It's our go to fish and chip shop. The flake is raved about in the family. And not being a seafood eater myself I love their potato cakes and chicken schnitzel burgers.
Great, old style fish and chippery. Good service, good price and the food was great. Would recommend! We had flake, potato cakes, scallops and chips. Very generous servings.
Amazing chicken schnitzel sandwich, fish and chips was also great, fries could use a little more crisp but maybe it's just my taest in fries, clean, tidy, lovely owners
