I'm always reluctant to rate too highly but we all agreed that we could not fault a thing, close to the best meal I've ever had. The flavours were amazing. How can you make an iceberg lettuce taste so good?! The shared meat plate is a must. Great food and great service. Will definitely return
It is to die for here my new favourite place !
The best staff and food
I am in !
I attend Morris Jones on Sunday for my birthday with 18 friends. We did the ‘sip and sushi’ and my god did they impress. The risk with ‘bottomless brunch’s’ is always the food/drinks taking forever to come out. This was not an issue at all. Because we had such a big group we were upstairs in our own room with our own waitress. She took all the food/drink orders and the drinks came out quite quickly. The aperol spritzes were a lot nicer than other places I have tried when they have to make them in bulk.
I booked through John who made the process very easy and pain free and he even came up on me on the day to check in.
I would definitely go back to MJ for the sip and sushi again! Thanks for making it a great birthday!
My friend and I popped in for a drink recently, this is such a beautiful bar. It has a great ambiance and gorgeous interior.
We had a spritz each, both made very well. The drinks menu is really good and I appreciated the friendly service too.
A great place to visit.

Popped in last night for a vino with a girlfriend. We enjoyed happy hour and the lovely bar tender gave us some insight into their wines. Their house wine was a Pinot noir which I wasn't overly thrilled about as I enjoy the more heavier wines, nevertheless it went down a treat.
I haven't been here in ages, usually I would swing by on a Friday or Saturday night for cocktails which are also really nice. Inside has a really nice bright and funky space with an inviting beer garden at the back,
I haven't eaten here so can't comment on the food but will happily recommend for some drinks
Our visit to Morris Jones Co was exceptional. We received a great service, staff were friendly and attentive and recommended their best dishes. The food was delightful. We ate a 4 course Mystery Box, including 4 meals selected by the chef. The short rib was absolutely delicious topped by their lava cake. If I am to recommend anything it would be their White Chocolate Passionfruit signature cocktail.
I attended a Bottomless Brunch at Morris Jones & it was great value for money! There was lots & lots of food with so many gluten free options to choose from! The staff were really lovely and kept bringing out separate gluten free food for me! The drinks were also really good and we had a really fun day!
Absolutely loved my experience at Morris Jones and can't wait to return. We had a party of 7 and had the Sip and Sushi for my birthday. They included a bottle of champagne on the house as I was apart of the birthday club, awesome touch. The food is amazing and the drinks on offer for this deal exceeded my expectations. My only tiny grievance was that we had about five different waiters who, although super lovely, seemed very confused every time we tried to request more food. Some didn't know what the Sip and Sushi entailed and we always felt awkward requesting more food. Aside from that, awesome vibe, wonderful venue, great value and kind staff. Highly recommend.

This place has the best vibe! There is lots of different spaces in the venue and we ended up eating in the small area upstairs which was quiet and good for a chat.
In terms of the food, I would say that the food is lovely but overpriced. We got the Kali Wagyu Dumplings (which were tiny and $4.80 each but still yum), shiitake mushrooms, crispy skin pork belly and sushi chef’s daily selection of sushi (which was my favourite).
PS. You have to take a photo in front of the photo wall!
Had an amazing experience dining here last weekend. We called only a couple hours beforehand to try and make a last minute booking and found out the restaurant was fully booked. We decided to try our luck with a walk in. Despite being a very busy Saturday night, they managed to accommodate us with a table in the upstairs dining area.
We received stand out service, and had quality meals and cocktails with were served super quickly!
5/5 for this gem on Chapel! Firstly, Morris Jones couldn't be any more instagrammable if they tried. The flower wall is gorgeous and so is the overall decor.
The food definitely doesn't disappoint. Love the idea of Sip & Sushi too. I had the Spicy King Prawn Roll which was the most perfect sushi I've had and so beautifully presented too. The cocktails are quite unique and the staff quite knowledgeable about the flavours in them which was helpful.
Can't wait to come back next time and work my way further through their amazing menu!

We went to this cocktail and wine bar that offers fusion and modernised cali-jap cuisine for a function. The interior of the place, the flower wall, and its sophisticated design is worthwhile for a fancy casual dining experience.
Service is absolutely incredible, who always make sure the food is at a satisfactory level and will always attend to your needs.
The drinks selection were endless, and is a must try if you do visit this place.
RAW BEEF SUSHI ROLL: We really enjoyed this dish so much that we ordered two of these. The beef just melts in the mouth, followed by the marinade absorbed in the meat.
PRAWN DUMPLINGS: despite the dish being very small, this king prawn dumpling blew off the roof, tasting way better than authentic yum cha such as gold leaf. The XO sauce on the dumpling as well as the sake - a mystery that tasted so amazing
SCALLOPS: these tasted decent, but the portion was absolutely tiny for its price. The pips were the size of a nail and so I could not get much of a taste from a mini bite. However, the scallops were cooked perfectly, and I found myself drinking the dashi broth off the plate.
ROASTED DUCK LEG: this dish was okay. Personally, I’d see more value in purchasing from the sushi bar. This was again, very small. I personally did not enjoy the roasted duck leg, it was a bit tough and not much flavour. However, when adding all the elements in one bite, it was delicious.
Overall, it is extremely pricey and did not fill me up, although I cannot complain about how good the food was for my first time visit to this bar.
Excellent eating experience... From walking in the door and being greeted by the staff, seated to our table and drink orders taken right away. High quality service of meals and great taste. Staff were very attentive and organised. Highly recommend this restaurant.
