My husband and I were passing through Wollongong and we booked in here on a whim, and after our meal we were already planning our next visit. The food was spectacular, unbelievably fresh and generously portioned. The staff were amazing, and the service we received was second to none. Shout out to Fernando, our table waiter, for going above and beyond for us.
This was an interesting dining experience. The waiter was very friendly and had good banter. We ordered a couple of bloody mary oyster shots which were nice. The Asian style scallops were perfectly cooked and tasty. I ordered the barramundi with bbq prawn. I would've hoped to have got more than 1 prawn in the dish. But the fish and sauce to go with it was beautiful. The other fish we got was a snapper fillet which was delicious. The place itself could've used a little TLC. It gives off a cheap wedding function centre vibe as the carpets are stained and some of the chairs are a bit tatty. For the prices you pay for food I would expect a better quality arrangement.
Never a bad meal here. In my opinion their seafood platters are still the best I've ever had anywhere and I have been to some top notch Seafood restaurants.
Service a bit slow but that was due to staff shortages because of covid and isolating issues.
Staff that were there did their best and worked their butts off!
Best thing is I can walk here from my place 😁😁😁
