Our favourite dish was the Calamari skewers, which were grilled to perfection and the squid was the most tender I have ever had...the texture and flavour from the unique wood fired grill is great! The salmon was also wonderfully cooked and presented, and next time, we will try the beef. The grill really puts a wonderful rich flavour to the food and you won't get this anywhere else in the 'gong.

Went to Steamers on Saturday there was 14 of us we had the winter special and it was great and the service was fantastic we all loved our dishes and our waitress Kate was amazing and so was the rest of the staff. Definitely will be going back again highly recommend Steamers.

Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Wollongong city beach. The food was a bit pricy but the serving was huge! The menu offered a huge variety and catered to all dietary requirements. The Seafood Gumbo for 1 can definitely feed two people. The $35 three course option was worth every penny, would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful view of the Wollongong beach along woth delicious food. Good options for vegetarians and Indians too available!! They had palak paneer too which was a delight!!

We came here as a family of 6 for lunch. The food was great and the service was as well. We had a range of dishes from the kids menu to the dining menu and everything was really good with the desserts being a stand out. I would just say that they need to clear the tables quicker. We had a number of menus and plates left on the table for a long period of time and I had to actually ask them to clear some room on the table.

Great place by the sea. Good food and drinks. Recommend the chilli margarita. Waiters are fantastic and overall good atmosphere.. the deserts are to die for.. we’re thinking of going back just for the deserts and drinks.. 😀. One thing to add, the prices are high. But it’s worth it.

I highly recommend Steamers. My friend and I had the seafood platter there for Easter on the Monday! Carter was super nice, friendly and did a great job serving us!! Will definitely be back when I visit Wollongong 😍😍
