Sneaky Burger

A copy and paste of my review from the FBAS page (Fattie's Burger Appreciation Society) Where: Sneaky Burger Albion Park Rail. What: The Holy Trinity - Milk Bun, Angus Beef, American Cheese, Maple Bacon, Nashville Chicken, Pickles, Lettuce and Sneaky Sauce. Bones: 14 1/2 for the burg. 3 1/2 chips and a can Pickles: 4.5/5 Sneaky Burgers has been on my to hit list for a while, but I've had trouble finding an excuse to be at Albion Park Rail at feeding time. Rocked up on Saturday with two Junior Fatties after a big arvo at Jamberoo Rec Park and all of us were peckish. The Joint is the Old KFC and is equipped with a drive-thru and heaps of parking, suitable for a car club or a bunch of middle aged men on V-twins to meet up prior to hitting Macquarie pass.. But at 7.45 on a Saturday the place was dead. Always makes me sad seeing guys trying to take it on independently and just not getting the support they need to survive. We were greeted by a friendly face who took our order at counter and then delivered our meals to our table once they were ready, thankyou very much! anyway. Burger did everything it said on the packet. Beef Was Juicy and real beef, Chicken was Moist, Bacon wasn't overcooked, nor was it the cheap rindy shit, just enough lettuce to classify it as a meal and the Cheese held it all together well without being too cheesy. The Bun was nice and soft (I have no concept of what a Milk Bun is, so can't comment further) Certainly filled the hole in my stomach without making me have a coronary episode or slip into a food coma. where the burger lost 1/2 a point was the sauce. While it was nice and certainly didn't overpower the burger it was really runny and just got everywhere.. I can manage most massive burgers (through years of practice) without too much spillage, but this stuff ended up everywhere. Chips were served in a foil square take-away container and were nothing special.. I like a crisp chip as opposed to soggy, but that's a personal preference so I am not even scoring them.

F#k the negative reviews! This place is definitely worth the dosh. Awesomely friendly staff and big ass burgers. What else can you want? Don't listen to the keyboard warriors, keep doin' what you're doin'!

One of my favourite burgers to date!
Me and a few friends headed here for a quick burger while we were in the gong for a night and ordered the sneaky with no tomato and it was beyond my expectations.
The general consensus was that the bun was really soft, meat super juicy and the lettuce was fresh and crispy with the perfect sauce tying everything together.
The atmosphere is really cool, there’s something about the location being tucked away in its little corner that makes the vibe really cool and intimate. Great place to chill out on a comfy chair and have a great classic burger for a uni feed or a decently priced dinner out.
We’ll be back!

While in Sydney for no real reason, except of course to eat more good food, the bro and I popped down for a little sneaky burger at Sneaky Burger in Wollongong. Sneaky sneaky. They have 2 locations, Wollongong and Albion Park Rail, and this time we chose the one at Wollongong. We had the address and chucked that into Google Maps but to be honest still had a little trouble finding the place. We didn’t give up though and eventually found it situated at the end of a row of shops/thoroughfare/whatever it’s called on the ground level of a taller building.
