If you like Indian food, but sick of seeing menus with the same old stuff, then this is for you
The menu wasn't very expansive, but what was on there was top notch.
Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful.
Great food, great service & great wines. There were plenty of vegetarian options and all the food was excellent. The food was spicy without being too hot and while the restaurant is BYO, they have a great wine and beer list so we didn't bother with corkage!
Nice relaxing ambience, friendly service and food was delicious, with generous serves. Highly recommended. Looking forward to returning soon.
Amazing! Went out with my partner to try something different / this exceeded our expectations. The coconut chicken curry was divine! Highly recommended it!
It's an experience to eat at this fine establishment.. Authentic food, great selection of wine and the hospitality to match. We were served by one amazing girl in her school uniform, obviously still in primary school and wiry big life ambition. After our meal were were treated with meditation bowls, Tibetan horns and a tour of the the promises to experience all of the trinkets.
Good environment. Excellent service and veey interactive. Chef came out to ask about the food. Highly recommend the prawn curry. Sauce was good and prawns were tender.
Authentic Nepalese food, reasonably priced. Enjoyed the paneer w Spinach. Alcohol quite expensive ($8/glass of wine). Nice atmosphere .
BEAUTIFUL!. I have been here a few times and they never seem to disappoint, the food is spectacular....would highly recommend, the staff are very friendly and efficient, tables have always been cleared quickly between courses and always make sure you are not left wanting. :)
Fabulous no fuss fragrant food. The lovely people at Himalayan Kitchen threw in some tasty vegetable fritters (pakoras perhaps?) for free with our takeaway order of fish curry, vegetable curry and dahl - the lot was painlessly gluten and dairy free, lovely and fragrant, and made substantially hotter by the chilli pickle I ordered on the side (having been disappointed by bland nepalese food in the past). We got very decent amounts of food for our money, too. Will be back.
Amazing and great for vegans!! The food here was unbelievably tasty, I cannot wait to back. One of the best dhalls I've ever had. Although there weren't a huge amount of vegan curries, the staff were extremely helpful in pointing out what was vegan and there was more than I expected.
The best dining experience in my life. Firstly, the menu has a great range for all dietary requirements, restrictions, and lifestyles. Secondly, the food itself was magnificent!
Thirdly, the staff were kind, interactive, and entertaining.
And finally, the lovely man who worked there gave us all cultural instruments to try out! Made for a very fun night!!!
Friendly service from the moment we arrived. The food was splendid. They have a reasonable wine list with pricing that is fair.We took our own bottled wine and paid the reasonable $14.50 corkage charge. Would we go back ? Yes, definitely.
A big shout out for Bhim , Holly and the Himalayan Kitchen's staff. They made my son's birthday party lunch truly special. Not only the food was great but the whole experience was just amazing . Thank you so much . We enjoyed our time there .
Dinner at @thehimalayankitchen from a couple of weeks ago: good food, friendly service, and the chef even came out to say hello and asked if we wanted extra chilli πππ€€.
.
Momos: homemade steamed dumplings. These were really tasty! The dough wasn't too thick, and the fillings were big.
.
Pakora onion fritters: can't go wrong with these!
.
Spicy potato salad: they gave this one to us to try. It was quite spicy! But really tasty ππ.
.
A selection of curries, with pappadums and basmati rice. All the curries were super yummy, and were fairly mild. The added chilli on the side was excellent π

.
Mango lassi: yum yum yum π€€π€€.
I stated with Vegetarian Momos, Homemade steamed dumplings, filled with seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs and served with a fresh coriander and tomato achar, The achar sauce is perfection.
For Mains I had Khasico Masu - Slow cooked tender goat in traditional Tibetan manner enriched with mustard oil and fenugreek. This is a superbly tender.
Make sure to fold your garlic roti, basted side out, and take a moment to taste it, it has a true depth of complexity to the flavour and dip it in the goat curry sauce, if you don't, you are missing out!
If it's not offered, ask for the pickled chilli, roasted, on the side. Go gently, but if you like a little wow, then this will bring it.
Great food. Authentic Nepali. Awesome service. Will definitely be back again. Thank you guys. Jay Nepal!!
Beautiful food and great staff. The chief came to see if we were happy, which was lovely. Also great wine list x Totally recommend and will be back π
