We did enjoy our breakfast this morning, coffee was delicious, however the puréed avocado that was too cold did ruin our hot breakfast dishes. The rest of my big veggie breakfast was yummy, but as it was the main component of the bruchetta there wasnt really a way to avoid it.
It was still nice to come down from the hotel room for brekky and we were thankful for the $20 f&b voucher that came with the room.

My partner and I were staying in the hotel and had breakfast here this morning. We sat outside which was really nice. When the meals came out we were told cutlery is at the front counter, so one of us had to get up walk inside to get it,. In what world do they think that's acceptable. They should of given it to us when we ordered. We ordered smashed avo with hot chocolate, the avocado looked like mashed potatoes with sloppy scrambled eggs, for the amount of food and how sloppy it was you really needed two bits of bread. We also ordered eggs benedict and a dirty chai,. Which don't get me wrong was nice but the English muffin was way too cooked. As you can see from the photos the hot chocolate was only half full and the other half was just froth and was far from being warm, The dirty chai was also the same. Overall it was a good feed but with a few extra touches and some improved customer service, which isn't a but ask I could rate this place higher

I would rate this more than 5 star for the food! Booked dinner with my aunts recommendation. By far best Aussie fine-dine food I have ever tasted. We ordered ‘ocean on earth ‘ and squids for starters both great. And chicken and the famous ‘hop snap and swim’ for mains. The later was huge hit for us with well cooked and juicy meat. The place is but tiny so would recommend a booking. The staff were very kind and great hosts!

Beautiful food. The steak was cooked perfectly, and very tender. The gnocchi was very nice. The desserts were amazing. The service and wine recommendation by Amanda was great. Very helpful and friendly. 😊

Love this place. Quiet, personal, and wait staff are very attentive and professional. Dinner here is amazing! They have a selection of modern Australian cuisine and some good staples. Menu is minimalistic but perfectly balanced. Perfect formal dining experience.

Sublime. I have eaten at Culshaws a number of times, and every time is better than the last. I don't even know how that is possible, but it is. I still remember the first time my partner and I came here. It was our anniversary, and I briefly mentioned that to the waitress, just making conversation. Fast forward to after our mains and we are surprised with chocolate coated strawberries, truffles and a beautiful message written in chocolate wishing us a 'Happy Anniversary'. So unexpected and so thoughtful. The menu is wonderful too. I especially love the gnocchi with blue cheese and the chicken breast with hand cut chips in a creamy sauce. The 'Hop, Snap and Swim' tasting plate with roo, croc and barramundi is delicious too! The use of native produce like muntries, saltbush, macadamia and quandong, and the South Aussie winelist just adds to the wonderful experience. It is truly a special occasion restaurant, and one that does not disappoint! It's not cheap, but when the service, food and experience is this good, I am happy to pay more! Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay in my classic suite with bath. Lovely facilities, bed comfy, deep bath. We stayed for breakfast too and had a nice meal.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay. Rooms were marvelous very well appointed. Only downside would be the amount of light that comes in from the outside all night made it hard to have a decent night sleep. Restaurant was superb had the best lamb dinner I had ever eaten.

Great location in Adelaide. Only there for one night, but the room was lovely and had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. The only downside was the air conditioning was on far too ferociously and had to go go to my room and change into jeans!!

Stayed here on the 25th of June for my fiance's birthday! Got a happy birthday plate with chocolate on arrival! Hotel room was amazing! Had dinner at Culshaws aswell, Jon their manager came out and sang to my partner with the chef! Cannot recommend this hotel and restaurant more!!!!

We've stayed at the Majestic Roof Garden twice & both times have been very happy with a lovely room, friendly & helpful staff & the beds are so comfy! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it. The room was lovely, the bathroom was luxurious and the king size bed comfy. We were moved upon check in to a quiet room with a view and balcony, and we were also sent some complimentary room service desserts! We will be back sooner rather than later

Went to a wedding there and the food was 10 out 10 and can't fault the service we were really looked after the waitress was quick in get us a refill amazing view on the roof top gorgeous nite topped it off perfect weather

Horrible not once over two days did the door electric card work up and down to the service desk every time I left the room 6th floor :( to say I was angry is putting it mildly ! Door was and no doubt still is faulty ! My room may as well been in the cellar 6th floor no window no fresh air but my work colleague on the 4th floor had a balcony and outside door quiet a nice room a world apart from my nightmare dungeon ! Only got home today so having this pop up so soon I'm not sugar coating the experience and I've never before left a bad rating for any motel I've stayed and I usually upto 3 motels a week around the country! People are nice and maybe my room may have been the room one step up from sleeping in the hallway and just about had to 😢

Stayed there 9-10 April '16 for my daughter's wedding....Room was most comfortable and had everything we needed +....Good food in the restaurant! Roof Garden Function Centre was fantastic venue for the wedding ceremony & reception...food was great!...friendly, efficient and helpful staff made for a good stay.
