Such delicious food! I had the vegetarian options (go the snowed corn and chargrilled eggplant in tea broth - stunning dishes!) while other half had the meat options, which looked so good I wanted them too! Staff were perfect! It’s no wonder this place has rave reviews!

Had a family dinner at Level One with 10 people last night. The new menu is exceptional. The seafood is very fresh and the oysters second to none, such great quality at a very affordable price point. The service is amazing, the staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. Can't wait to return!

Level One was a fantastic place to catch up with friends. Really good atmosphere and professional staff. We worked our way through the wontons, scallops, salmon aburi, the crumbed pork sanga (you need to try this!), spicey pork and salmon donburi. Each dish was great. They were also reasonably generous serves. Good wine list to go with. A very pleasant evening.

Absolutely 100% happy with this place... It's quite pricey hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but the food is very tasty... Recommendations : the charred corn and scallops in the small eats , Korean spicy pork belly in the large eats!! Thumbs up!

This is such a late review, but I'm still going to write one because my experience here has been by far one of the most positive ones to date at any restaurant! From the service to the food; everything just exceeded my expectations. Every dish was finger-licking good, and my god was that scallop dish (which were so so fresh) to die for! You can tell the chefs put a lot of time and effort in ensuring how their dishes are presented, and also in how every element on a dish comes together to give a burst of flavour like you've never had elsewhere. I'm not saying this purely based on my one dining experience, but also when a friend held her 21st birthday here. My god were the canapes such a delight! (it was so good I asked the waiter to bring out the leftovers oops)

(P.S. I rarely ever give out 5-star ratings so that's how you know the food is bloody damn good!)

Dinner for 2 - revamp of Level One. A very warm welcome when I arrived - the service was just amazing.
Food wise we had a few things from the menu for sharing and all was well. Would I go back, yes for sure.
The selection of drinks was great as well.

Service is excellent, atmosphere and internal design are beyond expectation. However, food taste is even lower than average (some dishes can only taste salt) that ruined the reputation of "Asian food", that the chef needs more work on balance flavour and creativity.

Level One Restaurant replaces what was once Olea and has moved from a Greek Restaurant to an Asian inspired menu. The current menu is designed by Chef Jamie Kang who draws from his experience and heritage to bring something new. The decor and setting is sophisticated, food presentation is elegant. On our first visit we opted to go for the Omakase ($65), in other words feed me.

We came here for an important milestone dinner and needless to say, it was an excellent choice. The overall experience turned out to be enjoyable thanks to wonderful service from wait staff, as well as well-coordinated decor and furnishings. Ambience was perfect, and it was nice to pair that with such an interesting menu.

Since it was a group dinner, we decided to order a few plates to share. For salmon fans like ourselves, the Salmon Aburi was a creative twist on a known and loved crowd favourite. The crispy rice was the perfect textural accompaniment! The pan seared scallops were also a highlight of the meal, with the miso cream adding another dimension to the fresh seafood flavour.

Other dishes we ordered were the Shiitake Ravioli, Fried Octopus, Korean Squid Pancake, Pan-Seared Scallop, BBQ Pork Belly and Vegetable Tempura.

The only drawback, unfortunately, was the cost. Pricing was just a little steep considering the serving size, but for a special occasion it is a great spot to try. The flavours certainly won't leave you disappointed!

Amazing! The waitresses there were super friendly helpful. We wanted a specific type of cocktail and they were able to accomodate our needs! Gin list is quite extensive as well!
The food was delicious! Though the price is definitely on the high end. The chicken wings were the highlight of the night as the skins were crispy to bite in and the flavours just burst into your mouth! The pork ribs were great too! It had the perfect amount of spice! The rib eye was average, probably would have preferred a bigger size of the ribs than the rib eye! The salmon aburi was quite unique with the crunchy rice instead plain sushi rice. Also ate the scallops and eggplant where both fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

This space has undergone many changes. This restaurant now is excellent. The aburi salmon is amazing, with different textures. The ravioli is better than the gnocchi. The snowballs are a delight too.The desserts are inspired. Prices on the high side

Excellent presentation of food with well balanced and interesting flavours. We visited on a Friday for lunch and found the restaurant to be quiet. Staff were friendly, attentive without being overbearing, & knowledgeable. We ordered to share the scallop sashimi, grilled baby octopus, and the vegetable tempura. The scallop sashimi was excellent. The flavour of the grilled baby octopus was divine however this dish's score was reduced due to the chewiness of the octopus (needed to be tenderised further). The vegetable tempura was perfect. The batter was crispy and not oily at all. Hands down the best tempura I've eaten. For dessert we had the coconut brulee and the calpis soda jelly. Both of these were exceptional and presented beautifully. We will be returning customers.

Hmm. This is a tough one to review. On one hand, the ambience, service and plating is right up there. But on the other hand, most of the dishes that we sample were a bit underwhelming. The presentation was beautiful and really makes one keen to taste the dish. But here's where it goes a bit south after the grand entrance. It just falls a bit short of the mark when you compare them against the rustic originals that inspired the dish. That is not to say that they were not pleasant. (Except for the scallop sashimi which really tasted flat) I loved the idea of Asian inspired fusion and only wished the flavours were better represented. Having said that, service from the team was definitely the highlight of my evening. They really know how to make you feel welcome. This should be a benchmark. Hence it becomes 3 🌟 for flavour, plus 1 🌟 for everything else being way above expectation. Thank you all for a lovely evening!

Good ambient... Very interesting fusion of modern Asian cuisine. One of my friends was here before and he ordered the whole menu before coming along with me, so he ordered what he think is the best in the current menu... and I am very very pleased with the food... the bite size snowed corn and pig bits are my favourite, as they really put some effort in the stuffing which made them just blend so well when you put the whole piece in your mouth... warning: there’s some juicy in the pig bits which might burn people with sensitive mouth, but it’s so good that you don’t wanna waste a drip on your plate. So let it cool a bit before you put the whole thing in your mouth... one note: the food takes time to cook, so its a fair bit of wait and the potion of the food are not big, don’t go there if you’re a big eater or super hungry...

Beautiful space and lovely food!! Order more and share, servings are not big. Some of the stand out dishes were the steak, ribs, eggplant and tempura veges. They were delicious!

Everything we had was a variation on incredible! 3/4 dishes were quite light and perfect for the summer weather. All of them full of flavour and a great mix of textures. I highly recommend Level One to anyone looking for delicious Asian cuisine. Best to be prepared to share so you can taste more! I can't say enough about the: Korean Tong Ho Salad - jellyfish, coriander, enoki, woodear mushroom ($17). If all salads tasted like this I'd never eat anything else! Love the use of the 2 mushrooms (photo included). Veal Tataki - soy, savoy cabbage, green mango ($25). Full of flavour, not heavy at all. Char-grilled eggplant - black tea bouillon, umami crunch ($16). I could have had 2 more plates of this, so wonderfully caramelised that an offering to the gods must have been made. Salmon Aburi - salmon tartare, crispy rice, shiso ($25). This dish was the heaviest of them all, but still light by most standards. The crispy rice is very fun and added a great texture (photo included). We also had the sweet potato cheesecake which was fun to try but the only dish I wouldn't immediately order again. Although I could enjoy a full bowl of the accompanying yoghurt ice cream. Drinks: My Gun, My Gin - fun and good for summer but not a re-order. Green Tea Cooler - refreshing, sweat but not sickly, minty. Hard Pink Lemonade - best of the three, sweat, refreshing and fun.

Level One offered a fresh take on Asian cuisine with some quirky combinations but still retaining the original profile of the dishes it is playing with. Food is very yummy and well balanced dishes. My group of 5 ordered a good combination of dishes, and everything was great, all but one dish with lamb rump seemed out of the range of what I'd consider Asian cuisine. Otherwise, the food and service was excellent.

Wow! Went here last Friday. Had advised in advance about my extremely annoying mouth allergy which prevents me from eating anything remotely spicy (which I adore) as we remembered from a previous couple of visits -when I was fine to eat normally, - that the menu is quite generously endowed with spicy options. Nevertheless our lovely helpful waitress had already warned the Chef who went out of his way to ensure my courses and sauces were delicious and UNspicy . Heartfelt thanks to you both. Other waiters were on hand for extra drinks so we were both delighted with our total experience.
