My first visit. Recommended by my niece who lives nearby. Lunchtime was quiet but they expected 120 for dinner. 😳. Needless to say the service was excellent, very attentive and informative. The menu was comprehensive with a very good range of choices including options for the Gluten Free members of our community. Nearly all dishes can be made GF if required. A nice touch, especially with pizza and pasta on the menu. The decor was great (big pizza oven too); and genuine Italian music filled the air. Now the food. I had the pasta (Papadella) with mushrooms (fungi). Very tasty, creamy with both pasta and mushrooms al dente, just how I like it. The other main was the twice cooked duck (based on the French style). Also very tasty with a mash and baby broccolini. Two duck legs well presented. No wine today. Overall a treat, and definitley worth a visit. We will return with others 'in tow' 👌
Great atmosphere, great staff and great food! Couldn't have asked for much more definitely recommend you won't be disappointed.
Anthony was very welcoming and all the staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. Everything was on point, great bread for entree, good ambience - no blaring tv's or music. Pizza was amazing, this place is a cut above, great experience.
Dinner for 3 - well enjoyed & recommend this place for casual dining, good food, wide selection of food & wine. Only issue was bar service where we twice had to remind the bar Queen that it was an expectation that after we ordered drinks and she rang them up on the till that there was an obligation to actually pour & deliver them ;-)
Otherwise the service, advice re the menu, prompt seating and general ambience we rated highly.
For starters we shared Arancini and the stuffed olives - generous serves, well presented and tasty.
Mains - Blue Swimmer crab, Pene Polo & Ragu all arrived at the same time, piping hot & huge serves. All 3 of us were very pleased with the presentation and quality of our meals.
Pricing - perhaps a little high, but on the basis we couldn't find fault and enjoyed our evening I'd give it a BIG TICK and will return.
Writing this review after 4 visits. Service is a bit hit and miss- some days it is so friendly, warm and attentive, other times a bit blase. Food is always delicious and prompt- but I do find entrees small and very overpriced. $15 each for warm olives or a VERY small serve of polenta chips is ridiculous. Particularly for the olives! In saying that, the dessert was small but delicious although it did seem rather haphazardly thrown together.
Food is fantastic & service outstanding. Have been there for breakfast & dinner, both were excellent. Great to see Anthony himself approach tables for a chat. Will be returning.
Very busy on Saturday night.
On site parking is convenient.
Family friendly.
The initial drink service was slow - twice reminded of our outstanding order.
Lovely complimentary warm bread to start with a small bowl of olive oil & balsamic - we requested butter too when the oil quickly ran out.
Her: Gnocchi ragu = delicious & filling
Him: Linguini vongole = tasty
Me: Cacciucco (seafood stew) = satisfying
All: Side of patate = perfect, crispy outside & fluffy inside
Complimentary coffees were offered but declined.
Cheesecake takeaway
Two of us felt like we had overeaten when we left - slightly uncomfortable but contented.
The menu above is out-dated, as is the one on facebook.
I was disappointed that I couldn't get the fantastic pistachio panna cotta (which I've had before), perhaps its a summer menu item.
I have been to Anthony's 4 times with my partner and the food is amazing!! However the service By one of the waitresses was disgusting. The first time she was repeatedly and obviously rude to my wife. This was immediately noticed after she would not acknowledge her, right through to her sarcasm. Each time we have been in we were served by this woman who was both arrogant and had an attitude that could only be described that we were inconveniencing her night. The food is delicious, especially their pastas which is the best we have had.
I dined at Anthony's a few months ago now. The food was of a great standard, and well-liked by all. I would definitely recommend the prosciutto pizza, it was divine! The service was excellent, and the staff happily catered to a nut allergy! The dining room is styled nicely, however due to full-length glass windows, the sun beaming through made us uncomfortably hot. Waiters happily moved us to a shadier table, so this wasn't a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. It was quite a loud atmosphere, due to chatter and live music, but some may argue it adds to the charm!? Pricing was reasonable too, so we were overall very satisfied with the evening! I would definitely recommend visiting!
Been here 3 times and haven't been let down once! Amazing service, super friendly staff and gorgeous atmosphere. I had the Pappardelle cooked perfectly and the beef cheek just melted in my mouth! Not to even mention the delicious desserts in the cabinet! You can't go wrong at Anthony's!
Had my 50th birthday family dinner at Anthony's tonight. Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Would highly recommend for any occasion.
My sons live in Melbourne and they said Anthony's was top notch.
See you again soon!
Thank you

We went to Anthony's an hour before they opened for lunch, coffee and cake from 11am-12pm. Anthony himself was very helpful, placing our order half an hour early and preparing the restaurant for lunch service.
I was delighted to see vongole on the specials board! Our meals came out quickly and well presented. We enjoyed our meals and wines.
