Such a wonderful dining experience - great atmosphere, well set out for the dining experience. The food is delicious, some of my pics show remnants of an enjoyed meal! Well priced, fresh and balanced colourful meals. Thank you

Dined here for the first time to a full house. Party of 5 and our food came out hot and delicious. Friendly service and clean dining. Will definitely love to return.

This is my first time ordering food here through uber eat, this restaurant is located 8 minutes from my house and I have to wait for the food for 3 hours?... After I called this restaurant they said they were waiting for the driver but in fact the driver was waiting for the order. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Because this place is not hones and very bad service. It's very disappointing to wait for our orders more than 3 hours. The food is not that good either and after I eat this food I get diaries, I won't want to order anything from here😢😠 bad service

Absolutely the best Thai food in town - this is our second visit and we can't fault any of the food! The ribs were divine and we almost had to stop our friend from licking the plate, because the sauce was that tasty. The special soft shell crab curry was absolutely the best and most authentic I had tried in Australia, closely resembling the one I had in Thailand.

Flavourful and aromatic meals, good prices, and a really authentic Thai experience. Cannot stress enough how good their chargrilled dishes are!

Delightful Thai cuisine. The service was excellent and sweet, pleasant ambience and the most important thing is the food. I had the best Gui Chai, good texture and crispy. It made me feel like Thailand. Definitely coming back.

This was my second visit to Kin Kin and everything from start to finish was fabulous. They accepted a birthday cake from me before the restaurant opened so I could surprise my friend and then the delicious food began. Even the people next to us couldn’t stop raving about the food . The menu was so delicious, fresh, tasty, nothing everyday or boring about any of the dishes. The service was fantastic and the choice of wine excellent. I have nothing but praise for kin kin eatery and their staff. The only downfall is that the reservations button on the website isn’t functioning but they answer the phone and you can make calls to reserve. Make sure you try this Thai restaurant which was one of my favourite meals in ages and I eat out a lot! khop khun ka.

Great food and service at reasonable prices. Been there twice in the last few months dining in, and today had home delivery while in close-contact isolation. Couldn't say anything but good about Kin Kin.

The food is great, but a sour taste was left after the meal due to the rip off BYO charge. It doesn't list BYO on the menu so we asked the waiter if we could BYO, he said yes and, without asking what the actual charge was (big mistake), we took out a bottle. My experience in Thai places is a corkage charge of $0-$3 per head. There were only two of us, and we were quite shocked when the the bill came to be charged a corkage charge of $17!!!! No wonder they don't list it on the menu or tell you. Kind of ruined what was otherwise a good meal.

DONT READ THIS ! Dinner here with family not seen each other for several years , friendly greeting , service well
food good.
BAD we were charged for drinks that were not served, hepburn spa sparkeling $7.00 not ordered and charged for (tap water requested at the start of dinner ) 2 * watervale riesling $11.00 per glass= $22.00 not ordered and charged for, this wine is not even in the wine list on offer at Kin Kin as at March 2018 to buy ,buy the glass , so how did we order it.

Never return, hope the over charge was worth the review.

I came here for Mother's Day and ordered the special set menu for the day. The entree came with the thai wafer, dumpling, and something else that I can't find on the menu; but it appeared to be a glutinous rice ball wrapped in seaweed. Our family absolutely loved the latter, the different textures complimented each other, and the taste wasn't overpowering at all, accompanied by a slightly sweet sauce- hopefully it'll be on the permanent menu soon!

For mains, we got prawns stir-fried(?) with snow peas; it was good, but nothing extraordinary. We also got green chicken curry, we I really liked, however, the flavour might be too plain for some. Personally however, I thought it was balanced well, so that the coconut base wasn't overpowering the other flavours; the chicken was really tender too! My favourite main was the barramundi (Pad Pla?), the fish was seasoned perfectly, and really crispy, and the spiciness from the greens and peanuts added a punch!

The winner for the night however was the thai tea soft serve! It was basically a thai tea in soft serve form, the flavour was so prominent, which is hard for some soft serves too do; super creamy too, and the puffed rice added a nice texture! I might have to come back every now and then to get this to be honest- a must try!

Overall, the meal was enjoyable- the flavours of the dishes weren't too strong, so if you're someone who doesn't like subtler flavours, this may not be for you. The service here was lovely, despite it being a little more busy, everyone was really attentive, accommodating, and friendly; always checking up on ice, and re-filling our water all smiles! Highly commend the staff! The price of the meal was decent; however, I would probably order off the menu next time was it'd be more valuable.

Kin Kin Thai Eatery has been serving authentic Thai and Street Food in their bright and cheery dining room for a little over a year. In line with the Thai New Year celebrations Kin Kin have held their first Food and Wine Degustation event – a one night only occasion that took diners on a culinary tour of Thailand from North to South. Adelaide Food Central was delighted to be invited to partake in the delicious four course menu with matched wines.

A delightful little cafe! Staff fantastic. Shared several plates. Marinated chicken wings deep fried absolutely amazing, steamed won ton dumplings a little tasteless. Minced chicken with green beans delicious as was the Pad Thai. Will definitely be back!

This is the best Thai restaurant in Adelaide. I have been here about 6 times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is happy and buzzing, the staff are so friendly and professional and then there is the food - so delicate and tasty. I think we will be here again next week. It is such a lovely place. Everyone we have taken here has loved it. It should definitely have a higher rating than it has at the moment.

30/04/17
Last night we attended their degustation dinner. It was absolutely amazing. The staff were wearing colourful Thai shirts and sashes and the atmosphere was wonderful. The place was packed. The food and wine were very well matched. Waiting for their next degustation.

Kin Kin Thai is good. Yes, it is the real deal. There is love for what they do to be seen here. The Thai owners slash chefs in the kitchen cooking up mouth watering dishes of flavour packed food. The menu is one of those menus where everything just sounds so damn good. Very hard to narrow down your choices. The waiter was relaxed but professional. Made it look so easy what so many other mere mortals make look so hard. He was there when we needed him and was out of our way while we enjoyed the meal. I happened to overhear a wealthy property developer at a table next to me say he ate there three times a week since it opened and was yet to have a bad meal. And based on my first visit I believe him. I will be back to explore the menu further. Try the steamed Barra. Yumness. Impressive.

Great food and service. We had no booking and they were fully booked but managed to squeeze us in. Very attentive staff, fabulous food. You must try the wafers but all our dishes were wonderful.

Kim Kin is fast becoming on one my favourite Thai places.

Not only do I think it's good value for money but it is so tasty.

There are some tasty drinks including the young coconut and the lychee frappe.

There are lots of fresh salads.

My favourite dishes are the rib ones, both are complex in flavour.

Check this awesome place out.

This was Delicious! Just stopped in for lunch, authentic food and great service. Pleasurable dining experience made better by the great décor.
The Munchkin
Decent thai food. Really authentic. Clean simple ambience and decor inside. The food is good. Would recommend the thai wafers for something appetizing. Full of herbs and lime to open one's apetite. The tom yum was one of the better ones i have had as well. The pork belly is excellent and the larb gai which is minced chicken with thai spices was delicious. The only downside is that it is on the slightly expensive side close to at least 30 pp

I recently went to the new Thai place in Hutt Street – Kin Kin Thai Eatery (not to be confused with Kin Thai in Waymouth Street, where I still haven’t been yet). It’s down at the southern end of Hutt – next to Kenji. It’s a pretty cool, simple fit out with a wall of happy and colourful photos of Thai scenes, people and food to the left as you enter. It was quite busy for a cold Wednesday night – about half full. I was told that Kin Kin loosely means eating and enjoying food together.

Lovely new restaurant on Hutt St near Kenji. Fresh and tasty ingredients with beautiful presentation. Pad Thai was one of the best we have ever tasted
Friendly professional service. Short wine list at good prices with BYO accepted

A magnificent Thai restaurant newly open at hutt street. Owners moved from Sydney to Adelaide, so welcome to SA guys. Beautiful wallpaper on the left as you enter - couple features like Thai food, floating market and etc. decorations are quite modern, simple and clean. Open kitchen concept, it's not fully open but there is a gap in between the wall where you can see your chefs cooking your beloved dishes.

Services - fantastic service. Very friendly staffs with a big smile. Food service is fast. We didn't have to wait long for the entrees to serve up and the dishes just all flows after that.

Food - first bite, must try the Thai wafers. Don't share this, you would need this one each or more. It is delicious, in such a small wafer, it is jam pack with flavours. Im a big fan of Thai salads. Must try the som tum (papaya salad) and the fish floss salad. It is really yummy, if yummolishes is a word I would say that. The papaya salad is very refreshing and love the kick of chilli. Now that's what I call Thai food, you need at least a slight kick of spiciness. The fish floss salad is very special, I have not try a dish like that before. The fish floss acts as the crunch part and it is served with green apple salad. The salad sauce is quite salty so just becareful not to dig too much sauce. Main dish that everyone must try is the Pad Thai. I can't say much more until you taste it yourself. The pad Thai is sensational with a slight squeeze of lime and chilli powder. I'm in love with the pad Thai. After all that, they also serve sweets. The Thai milk tea soft serve is like the icing on the cake. The soft serve is not way too sweet, I probably prefer mine without the little rice pops but it doesn't bother me anyway. The whole night dinner has been extremely pleasant.

Highly recommend this place to everyone, my relatives and friends. Food and service is fantastic. Add it to your must go list.

Kin Kin Thai Eatery is one of those inconspicuous little restaurants that you drive past on the way to work almost every day. You take note, but tend to not think much of it. However, last night I finally crossed it off the list of places that I need to try. I do not have one bad thing to say about this little restaurant. It is in such a convenient location for me, walking distance from work and very close to home, I'm sure it will become a regular dinner location, especially since they do take away and also deliver.
