Ordered the donut, banana cake, and soy cappuccino. Got in early and the cafe filled up quick! It’s a beautiful space (shared with a distillery I think) and the heaters were on when I was there, which made having brekkie on a cold morning so cozy. Loved the donut, it had more of a croquette texture than the traditional dough type donut (it might not even be a donut!). The banana bread was good too but not outstanding. The soy cap was great, really enjoyed the dusting of cocoa powder.
Pros; coffee is great! Staff are genuinely friendly and remember you. Haven't tried the food but I'm sure it's great too.
Cons; in an awkward location, food options are limited.
Funky chic warehouse style coffee coffee coffee place! No kitchen here, just a simple display cabinet with simple food. Super friendly, warm staff. Coffee is okay, I have long black so there is no room for error, could have been just a bit richer in flavour, but at least not bitter. The only downfall for me here, is the food. Considering there is only a bench and the display cabinet, there could have been more interesting food on offer. Apart from that, booty on down, as it's worth a visit. Hint: super busy on the weekends.
Tell Henry are coffee fiends. Which is why there is only a small menu and no kitchen as such. Food on offer is what you see in the cabinet on the day along with pastries, brownies and Bagel Boys bagels. The best accompaniment to a coffee using boutique roaster Industry beans.
I love a good warehouse flip and this one is so spot on. It keeps the warehouse vibe without being dusty or at all dingy. There's plenty of seating in and outside of the cafe which shares a space with a design company but they in no way interfere with each other's space instead most likely adding magic to one another's day.
While parking can be a bit of a bugger in the area it's worth being that stalky driver and waiting for someone to leave.
How should I bring my baby in?: Any ol' how. Being set up in a workshop style space with a heeeeuge entryway, you'll get your big ass pram in no probs. Seating our front also makes it easy to park and dine Al fresco.
One of Adelaide's great coffee hide outs. These guys take the art of coffee making seriously. Really special what they are offering here. If you are happy with a skinny caramel mocha latte in a big red paper cup drive on - this is not for you. Head to the nearest fast food drive through for your push button caffeine fix. For the rest of us that want real coffee made by the best in the business look no further.
Cant believe it took me this long to try this place but definitely a really great little cafe that serves excellent coffee . The coffee that i had was fragrant and strong. Very pretty cafe too with lots of artwork hanging on the walls. Would definitely return!
Tell Henry, I'll be telling everyone. Such pleasant service! And the coffee is so so good. I like the small food selection, it hits the mark if you like a little sweet or a little savoury, especially if you're on the go. I tried the carrot and walnut cupcake and it was delicious!
Tell Tom, tell Dick and tell Harry about the wonderful coffee spot ‘Tell Henry’ in Kent Town, east of Adelaide’s CBD. Located across the road from the prestigious Prince Alfred College on the Parade West, the renovated warehouse is also co-occupied by a creative agency. Tell Henry serves quality coffee and a small but tasty menu to whet your appetite.
Great little coffee bar. Friendly service always delivered with a smile. Tasty double ristretto shot as standard. Can get quite busy in the morning as it's only a small team and space, but the short wait is always worth it. Definitely one of my new regulars. Food options could be greater, but this is a coffee shop not a kitchen so the limited menu is understandable.
A new favourite of mine, although hard to find and far away from the busy parade. New to the coffee scene with funky decor. Makes me feel like I'm in Melbourne. Coffee and service is brilliant.
Visited here on Saturday and I was very impressed. Visiting because word of mouth and I didn’t regret my decision at all. Coffee was perfect temperature, and not burning hot like most cafes, price very reasonable considering I got almond milk, the old man who served me was nice and easy going, only negative I can mention was the wait time of about 5-10 min when I only ordered one coffee, besides that was a perfect experience. Currently right up there for my favourite, will be becoming my Saturday morning ritual.
Very well made flat white. Strong extraction using Industry Beans, beautiful silky milk. Well done team. Food options interesting but limited.

Great decaf iced latte and salted caramel brownie. Staff are helpful and coffee comes fast! Try one of their ‘bad boy’ bacon and egg buns in winter, amazing. Place is very popular so come early and snag a seat inside or out. I’ve never seen as many beautiful people in my life than i did in half an hour at this cafe
Always fantastic, consistent coffee here. Melbourne based Industry Beans Is what you will get and they do not disappoint. A couple, industrial fit out and simple food like breakfast burgers, bagels and croissants. Well worth a visit. (Oh and parking is pretty good considering it faces a school)
Pretty cool spot. Converted old service station, so lots of space and pretty different. Obviously the place to be in Norwood because it’s pretty busy.
The rueben sandwich was really good, coffee a bit bitter but ok. Nice friendly staff & atmosphere 👍🏼
Good light food under a beautiful shady tree with friendly staff and good ambience. I don't drink coffee at all so cant comment on that but the iced chocolate was excellent. Well priced
Holy Cannoli, the Rubens here defies belief. The coffee is tip top, they like dogs and the service is warm. I'm a big fan
