Fast service and good taste but it could be much more cleaner in the dinning area, especially fount door where I will never go in if no one ask me to.

Despite a change in style where you cook and stir up your own dish, the ingredients are really quite basic more for those times you want a simpler meal. This is the second time I've been to a Pepper lunch, with the novetly aspect gone there's nothing too special on offer. Staff were rather straight-faced, average service. It was dinner time and there was still plenty of seating.

I used to go here all the time when I used to live in Singapore. Pepper lunch here in Adelaide tastes the same. Although simple the food is tasty, flavourful, fun and filling!

Pepper Lunch is very tasty, my favourite dish is the Kim chi beef with extra cheese. The pasta dishes are quite flavourful too. Although, as a regular customer, I'm quite bummed that they have increased their prices. So it is a bit pricey considering the size of the meals. The dining area has a fun and quirky feel to it, but it is a bit quishy. The staff aren't too great when it comes to customer service, but the one who regularly serves me is very nice and knows what I want to order.

I've been here many times and have finally decided to write a review. I haven't tried a lot on the menu, but have always opted for the beef options. The beef pepper is one of my favourite go-to dishes as it's filling & also on of the cheaper options. I would recommend adding both the "Garlic" & "Sweet" sauces provided as they make the meal taste a lot better. I would be interested to try the steak options they offer but they're quite expensive for a fast food outlet. You could go to a fancier place for steak for around the same price. Another good thing is that the meal comes very quickly so it's good for a quick bite - and they open late!

great place if you want something different and with a bit of fun in cooking it. As the name suggests some of the meals contain a lot of pepper so do not order if you think it might be too much. Other than this, well priced and a good quick meal which comes out in seconds!!

I had kimchi chicken and it was delicious, but at the same time it was too hot to handle! The meat was minimal, and it's expensive if you want extra meat. Kimchi was on point. I would come back again to try their other stuffs.

I was very excited to see that Pepper Lunch had opened in Adelaide – I’d enjoyed their food years ago in Sydney and stopped in for a quick dinner on my way back from the airport. My first impression was that the restaurant was untidy – the floors were dirty and the tables hadn’t been wiped down, but the staff were hanging around playing on their phones. I can’t fault the service though, my order was taken promptly and the food came out quickly and beautifully presented. I ordered the kimchi beef plate, which includes

I really wanted to check out Pepper Lunch since the concept was very different. I can totally understand why it would be popular in busy countries such as Hong Kong or Japan or any other asian country. It is something different to see in Adelaide that for sure. Pepper lunch has a very extensive menu of food to choose from with loads of extras. Though it is on the pricey side for fast food, and food quality is pretty average. It is worth a try for the experience to cook your own food hot plate style but other than that its not really to attractive. Though it would make a great late night snack after a night out in the city.

Upon discovering Pepper Lunch we didn't know what it was. Adelaide doesn't have many, if any, places similar to this.

Great selection, relatively priced and super quick service! The staff are all very nice and the restaurant is always clean.

The only gripe I have is sometimes the portion sizes aren't enough.

A lot of options on the menu, super quick to bring to your table after ordering. Their fries are also good and they also have sriracha sauce available, overall good serving size the food is DLISH and well priced.

We have been here twice over the past week because we really enjoy the food and widely spaced apart tables. The trio of steak (wagyu, ribeye and porterhouse) is probably our favourite, although the mixed seafood as well as the ribeye steak were also really delicious. What I like best is that the steaks come out medium rare, cooked perfectly and tender, tasty and comes out very, very sizzling hot, and quite perfect to eat with rice.

Infusion dishes are a trend today due to the exchange of information on Internet. Widely available throughout different Website and the creation of all the individual artists to cater for society. Typically pinpointing “Pepper Lunch” on Gouger Street, Adelaide, it is a development originated from Japan. It has been so popular, it has saturated a few Asian Countries including HongKong, Singarpore, China, Malaysia and more. The dishes are combined of East meets West Culture culinary. Cleverly serving Med-Range quality produce from the West into Chinese Sizzling technique with the mixture of Western Sauce like Bbq Sauce and Worcestershire plus a tasty Sweet sauce and a Garlic sauce for your choice of dressing your preferable favour to your dish. Amazingly done. Average price range of $25 deal. Quick luncheon dine in eatery. Well done! However, cleanliness is a down point. To ensure the cleanliness maintained is the most priority in this business. Specially the window.

Got here after not being served at a restaurant for an hour. Staff was very warm and friendly. Food was served in 5 mins. Definitely recommend to everyone to try them.

First time at Pepper Lunch after a friend recommended it to me, and I tried the sizzling chicken curry katsu, with extra cheese added on, and miso soup on the side. The service was impressively quick, perhaps because all the cooking is done by yourself on the hotplate. When I poured the curry sauce all over the rice and katsu, the most gorgeous sizzling and smell filled my table. Very theatrical, and pretty tasty, too. Pepper Lunch is worth trying at least once, but I'd like to come again for lunch sometime to check out their other items. The restaurant is brightly lit during the day and I also enjoyed the Mandopop playing in the background.

Service is quick and friendly. The food was good apart from the karagge chicken was dry. You will have to mix your dish fairly quickly as is can overcook on the plate.
