Iv walked passed this cafe and have been meaning to try it since it opened.
My mum came down to visit me and I said let’s try this cafe. We walked in asked if it was table service they said take a seat then order at counter.
I ordered the smashed avo and feta on toast added poached egg, (It’s a huge serving) I only had one piece of the toast it was cooked on a open flam it was delicious!
My mum has eggs Benedict with ham!
It was all cooked to perfection. Even though they where packed the food came out supper quick.
I highly recommend the cafe. It’s a really slick modern cafe something your would see in Paddington or Newtown or somewhere in Melbourne. However it’s located in ashfield.
The owns have done a really good job bringing a fresh new look and style of food to Ashfield I would say it’s almost middle Eastern/ Italian it’s amazing
Coffee was made to perfection. Not bitter and strong.
The mis berry smoothly was thick and full of flavour. Can’t wait to go back to try other things off there menu. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because it’s not table service 💯 the food is very high quality!
I have come back and tried a few other things.
The zucchini and sweet corn fritters. These where amazing it came with bacon with some tomato salsa that was spicy! But amazing!

Good spot for coffee and burgers/salads. Great serving sizes and very tasty. Wouldnt recommend the corn fritters tho dissapointing presentation and theyre so small I was left a little hungry.
I'm a lil suprised with the reviews on here. We came here for afternoon coffee cake sesh after a late lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This is our second time here, and we love the tarts and coffee just hit the spot. Service was good and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Great location as well, central to everything.
I enjoy a breakfast here once a week and always have enjoyed a consistently good meal. Eggs are always cooked perfectly and the dukkah on this meal makes it quite unique. The coffee is always good and service is friendly. Not bad and one of the few good places in the area with good atmosphere in the heart of ashfield .

Food: Ordered the Acai Bowl & Smashed Avo Toast w/ Feta. The fruits were very fresh and lovely. The acai was smooth and not too bitter or sweet. The sourdough bread was great, avo was fresh and the tomatoes were really tasty.
Service: There is no table service - which is fine. You'll have to order at the counter and take a seat. Food came in about 10 minutes which was good. Staff are quite friendly.
Price: For Ashfield, it's on the pricy side. Paid $12 for the Acai Bowl and $14 for the Smashed Avo Toast. A tad expensive for the portions but it's worth it.
Ambience: It's a breath of fresh air in Ashfield. It's a modern and trendy cafe with beautiful decorations. It's definitely "Insta-worthy" with gorgeous aesthetics. It can get busy, so I suggest going during non-peak hours.
This cafe was a breath of fresh air when it opened in Ashfield. A much needed, and in my case appreciated addition to the area. The lunch menu has something for everyone, and the food is generally fresh and tasty.
I'm amazed at the bad reviews. This place is great and what Ashfield desperately needed. Yes you can probably find better coffee and food in the Eastern Suburbs but you'll be paying 25% more and driving 45mins to get there. That's not to say the coffee or food are ordinary: the servings are really generous and everything I've orded has been great (not ground breaking, but solid and very good). Interior is nice too.
