We were looking for fast healthy food and that's exactly what we got! It was fairly busy on a Monday evening with most people taking food away. We were the only ones who ate in. I had the bean soup and my companion had The Works. The latter looked and tasted pretty good though it probably wasn't as healthy with the bacon! The ingredients in my bean soup were fresh, didn't taste salty and though it was not groundbreaking, it was exactly what I needed. Dishes were good value for money. Google description of this joint is incorrect. It isn't a pure vegetarian restaurant, it has meat options. Google also mentions biodynamic salads and though it may be true, I didn't see any mention of that in-store.
Feedmee is a convenient salad, soup and spud bar in the heart of Carlisle Street in Balaclava.
I've come here a few times now when on a health kick and have been generally happy with my experience. If it's busy it can take a while to get your food as each person takes a while to serve. It's not cheap and usually costs more than you think by the time you add on any extra things and some ingredients cost more than others. The salad is a big meal and very filling. The soup is hot and depending what soup it is, is usually tasty. Occasionally, the salad ingredients aren't always the freshest but it's not often.
Only a couple of tables to sit at so it's mainly a takeaway service. The staff are friendly and patient and the venue is very clean and welcoming. Parking is a killer in Carlisle St. Pop across the road for dessert at Yo-Chi!

Good place. Highly recommended for a good sized healthy meal. It’s an unobtrusive little spot on Carlisle St just near the station. So small you can easily miss it. A casual cafe where you can compose your own healthy salad as I did today. Good range of quality ingredients available here. All the usual suspects. Making a good salad here is effortless. And, what you get is a decent size serve too. The opposite of thimble sized. I loved my salad. Spinach, broccoli, peas, beetroot, capsicum, chick peas, carrot, cucumber, sesame seeds, sliced olives, lemon dressing and my personal favourite jalapeño to give extra heat and taste. I reckon I’d like a jalapeño milkshake - I just adore the stuff. Man, I tell you this salad was a beauty. It’s a nice little cafe here too. There’s decent room between the tables. Service was lovely as well and I was happy with the price. Quality music playing too. The only downer was one cretinous customer who shared his imbecilic phone conversation with the whole cafe for a while. The more he tried to convince us all that he’s so important only proved the exact opposite was the case. There was silent cheering when he left. Overall this place is a real winner for me. I’m lovin’ it.
I got the Fresh Fiesta spud.. good serving size and lots of yummy fresh ingredients. The guacamole was not that good and overall the dish lacked seasoning.. however still enjoyable to eat. Definitely value for money.
love this place!!! never never disappointed- except the soup is never salted.. there are so many options - and me as a vegan, kinda need options. everything is always fresh and the people are sweet as! plus the price is amazing for a HUGE salad
've been to Feedmee many times eating in and it's also my go to for takeaway salads whenever I hit the moonlight cinema. One exciting evening I even saw Pia Miller in there (before she abandoned my favourite Australian C grade celebrity marriage and moved to Sydney to become a soapie star). Healthy, fresh, delicious
Great, fresh food. The only thing preventing a 5.0 rating is depending on 1. what day you go and 2. who is serving your food, you will either get a great portion or a very skimpy one.
Love Feedmee - always my go to place for a fresh tasty salad. I love being able to choose what goes in and the serves are always generous. Such a great place to grab a healthy lunch on the go.

Fresh, healthy, tasty food at reasonable prices. Salad serves are huge: a takeaway salad is two meals for me. Great variety of soups, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. I eat here regularly :-)
I come here at least once a week to get my Bellissimo baked potato fix. It’s so delicious and you couldn’t want for more. Tasty treat and keeps my waistline in check
Had the Fresh Fiesta potato tonight. Was yummy and way too big so I ate it all and now feel too full. Great visit for the whole family.
Just went here for the first time and the staff was super friendly and helpful, the portions are BIG and the flavour is delicious! will be back. 😋
Irish Farmhouse soup was great and good value.
A decent portion of soup under $10. Spuds and salads with fresh ingredients are so yum too. You can opt for a healthier option or indulge in one with sour cream etc., the choice is yours.
In addition, the staff is amazing ( i used to work there last year, the boss and the employers are very friendly).
Quick polite service, good value and tasty food. Soups and Baked Potatoes (with all the different toppings) plenty of healthy salad choices too. Ideal for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores alike.
Perfect place for dinner with a range of delicious, and healthy, soups, salads and spuds. Service is quick and you may as well choose the "create your own spud" option, as you get 8 toppings and extras are really cheaps.
Really easy to find out what combinations go well together and can create some really filling meals. I'm now a regular and pretty much know what I'm getting everytime I go.
