A sophisticated restaurant which offers an excellent, modern menu made up of wonderful seasonal produce. They offer communal dining experience at a long share table which sits 20 people, or you can seat beside the window and watch the pedestrians walking by. Definitely recommend this wonderful dining experience
Delicious, fresh from the market, daily changing menu. Great vibe. Exceptional attention from staff. Personal touches (we were introduced to the chefs by name). Exceptional wines and advice re this. I will def be back. Loved it. Thanks for a great night.
Went Saturday night and was unexpectedly surprised by the quality of the food. The wine bar and atmosphere provide exactly as hoped but the food menu lifts it from local wine bar to neighbourhood gem. Great work

Found ourselves lucky enough to sit down at Pretty Little’s communal table on the last night of their ‘Little Inverted Comma’ chef collab while we were on holidays from Brisbane.
Serving up six creative and delicious courses showcasing the best produce, our dishes were paired with perfect wine selections and great service - all in all a brilliant night!
We had a really nice night with great food! Intimate but relaxed vibes …it felt like you were having dinner amongst friends. There’s a set menu for all guests; we added on the wine pairing and it was excellent. In warmer months the outdoor area would also be really lovely. There’s a fireplace out the back for a smaller group who just want a drink and chat. We would go back, highly recommend.
One of the underrated gems of Melbourne’s dining scene. Eaten here 5+ times. Be it an special occasion or if I want to impress a visitor.
There are two reasons why Pretty little is great. First the food is top notch. It’s sophisticated, with great chef technique, but accessible and never trying too hard. I still think about the swordfish wrapped in house cured swordfish bacon, from my first visit.
The second thing is the vibe. With one long table and a set menu, it’s much more like a dinner party than a restaurant. You meet people, you chat, you get a great selection of wine (just trust Mike, he’s never steered me wrong). It’s like someone smashed a local bar and a fine diner together in the best way. If you like your food great and your atmosphere unstuffy, you love this.
This place is an absolute gem. A very intimate experience, the owner Mike and Chefs Mikey and Laurent are gifted people who make you feel at home.
Food is absolutely incredible, so much flavour with seasonal ingredients. Amazing local wine pairings.
Cannot speak highly enough of this place!
Amazing food, good service, nice and cozy vibe, overall great experience. Look forward to coming back for another set menu experience!
The perfect place for a special occasion. The service is warm and welcoming - the passion they have for their craft is obvious. The food is completely incredible and the paired wines make it an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is cosy and unpretentious. The whole experience is worth every dollar.
We had dinner for a second time at Pretty Little on Saturday night and it was fantastic as usual. Not just the brilliant food served up in the 6 course degustation but the atmosphere, attentive service and attention to detail too. The matched wines were also a stand out, some really interesting producers to look up.
Thanks to Mike and the team at Pretty Little for a great night.....Cat and I will be back soon.
