This is a favorite for date night with the wife. Excellent quality food, in particular the eye fillet and pork belly. Soft centered chocolate pudding was fantastic too. Good selection of wines.
Excellent night had by all six of us. Service, food and atmosphere wonderful. Surprisingly great value for such delicious food. My duck ravioli was superb and the cheese platter and banana crepes rounded out our experience.
We had a big group and they handled us very well, all our meals came out together their time management was spot on. I had steak and it melted in my mouth like butter it was so gorgeously cooked thanks red peper for a great night.
Hadn't been here for a while so we thought we would check it out again and we weren't disappointed. The menu is small and it certainly costs more, so the food had to be good and it was. The starters and mains were all very good. The slow cooked brisket massaman was different, nice and very filling.
There is no kids menu but they were prepared to make something for us, however we decided to just get an extra plate and share our mains.
Great experience... Warm, inviting atmosphere with lovely mood lighting... Exceptional service. The meals whilst higher end on price were extremely generous in proportions, well worth the money. Pork belly entree was perfect as was the salmon for main. Overall dining experience was as good as we have experienced anywhere in the Ballarat region... Will be back again!

Beautiful lunch today. Beetroot risotto with goats cheese & pine nuts was divine. My husband had duck with asian noodles which was also lovely however a little small for a big eater. Not a complaint as for the price paid with a complimentary glass of wine it was certainly good value. Looking forward to dining here for dinner when next in Ballarat.
I dined here tonight with my other half. I had the mushroom bruschetta with Brie as an entree, it was superb, perfect balance of tastes in the dish, sourdough always a great choice as a base for bruschetta. As a main I had the lamb shank wrapped with panchetta and stuffed with goats cheese on a bed of vegetable risotto. The lamb shank was cooked beautifully, just melts in your mouth and the greens were crunchy and fresh! Only let down were the toilets, felt a bit like an outhouse rather than a restaurants toilets. But apart from that the atmosphere was lovely, love the red.
Lovely. Recently went for a sneaky romantic lunch date with my husband. The food was divine, the staff attentive and the atmosphere intimate without being stuffy. The scallops in curry were especially delicious! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a more upmarket dining experience.
Very nice venue, single lady owner who serves and cooks. Food was well done, steak sandwich, fish of day, lamb and calamari, beer battered chips was excellent. Would definitely go back
Our table of 4 all enjoyed our meals. What stood out was the customer service and the amazing job from seemingly the one waitress.
I'm pretty sure this is the best gnocchi I've ever had, light and tasty morsels with a beautiful creamy smooth goats cheese. The mustard glazed greens were just tender. It was a good restaurant for a special occasion.
Delicious food, friendly staff, priced well. Great atmosphere, not too loud. We had a great 3 course meal. The duck is 👌
