I have been coming here for years, never disappoints. Great quality food and service. Great value. Yakiniku chicken don is best I have ever tasted.
Good little place for a quick meal or takeaway. Prices are somewhat reasonable. Owners are nice and friendly but place lacks atmosphere unfortunately. Cash only.
The sushi is really great and really fresh. The stafg are wonderful to talk to and are always happy to see you. You are also able to order other meals which are also super tasty.
Like this joint, good quality food and prices are cheap.

Fantastic Japanese Take Away... There is a small eating area but its more of a take out restaurant. Food is very authentic with probably the best flavors in town. Having lived in Japan I am often disappointed by the 'variations' provided by other Japanese restaurants. Suisen never lets me down. I am a fan.
The food here is incredible tasty and really well made. I highly recommend the salad rolls ( best dressing ever) and the miso soup is huge. Head and shoulder above all the other sushi places in east london. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Great Japanese. I like this little hole in the wall place for authentic tasting Japanese cuisine. Shame their opening hours are quite limited.

Amazing sushi platters and catering options! This year we had Suisen prepare some nigiri platters for our Christmas dinner. The quality was very high and we were so happy with the results.
We ordered 3 separate platters of salmon, tuna and fresh scallop nigiri which we later seared with a blow torch. Many of our guests who have never tried sashimi or nigiri before could not get enough of it which is such a compliment to the chef.
I would highly recommend giving Suisen a go for their platters and entertaining at-home options.
The Miso Ramen was great! You get a generous serving and a delicious meal, all for $15.
The restaurant is small, probably only sits about 8 people so don't expect to have a family dinner there, but for a couple of people or takeaway Suisen is great.
EFTPOS minimum is $15 and they don't accept Amex.
Fresh, delicious and authentic Japanese. I've been coming to Suisen Japanese for close to 10 years and it never disappoints. The restaurant is run by the lovely Seng and his wife Chieko.
Here we have a Chirashi bowl, it's one of my favorite Japanese meals. The word “chirashi” means “scattered,” so this is basically a big bowl of rice mixed with fish, vegetables, and additional ingredients of your choice.
