Dropped in here for a hot choc & treat as we were in the area for breakfast. Their Couverture chocolate is delicious. I had the dark hot choc and my friend had the milk and we both enjoyed it. We also shared the choc chip cookie made inhouse which was one of the best cookies I've had in a while so had to buy a few more to take home with me. A small but funky place - if I'm ever in the area again will definitely pop in to enjoy another hot choc.
Fantastic little shop just down the road from my school! Offers fantastic service to tired and hungry year 12s as well as anyone who comes in there. The hot chocolate is the best around and the churros are amazing :D
Oh my deliciousness. Such a great little cafe where the kids can watch the churros being made. It is busier each time I go so obviously the word is spreading.
Gino's is a small cafe and the staff are very friendly. The decor is hip and atmosphere is relaxing. Its only a small cafe so its a great place to get away if you want some time to work or read. They make great coffee and the churro's with dark chocolate are delicious. In reply to Jai's comments below, the cafe is that small that I don't think they could even seat 11 people even if they wanted to, so I wouldn't judge them on that comment.
Well .... ... I went for the first time on Thursday and now it's Saturday and I'm wanting to go back again. As I'm a local, this could be dangerous for my already-not-svelte waistline.
Twenty bucks gets tea for two and a double serve of churros with two dipping sauces of your choice. The dark choc was a good accompaniment to the salted caramel.

Delightful Experience. After living in Europe and being spoilt by baristas that have mastered their craft, this cafe was a wonderful find. Since living in Oz I have not tasted such a gorgeous cup of coffee. Stylishly and effortlessly made with smiles and kind chatter to my tornado toddler and 6 month old, the ambient interiors took me back to Europe while the kindness to my wee family helped me relax and enjoy our visit all the more! I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to our next visit! The churros are superb too, when asking my fussy toddler to share he quickly put the remainder in his mouth, that's good testament to a well made treat!
I absolutely love this place! The churros are the best I've ever had not forgetting the great hot chocs and coffee. The service is always with a smile from the lovely people who own and run it.I also love that it doesn't seat many, it adds to the ambience and very cosy. Consider myself a regular there now.:-)
If you want the best churros visit Gino - they are cooked fresh and so light and delicious. The hot chocolates are rich and creamy. They also serve great coffee and milkshakes.
Want a hot chocolate, and I do not mean that powdered Easter egg rubbish many cafes throw at you.
If you find yourself in or near Belgrave, this is a must stop for the chocolate connesuer.
The cafe itself is a little unassuming, and the ambience is a little stark.. but if it is the best hot chocolate this side of Paris that toy seek, nirvana is here.
I would really give this a 4.5 as my coffee snob wife reports the skin cap as "good".
Best espresso, churros, real Belgium hot chocolate and light meals. Family business, staff are always warm and welcoming. Love this place off the main drag.
Love this cafe. Gino, Jesse and all of the family are friendly and make a great coffee. Often visit after going to Curves next door. Highly recommended.
