OMG. What a gem. Couldn’t believe this place was close to where I live. Had the Pepper Beef pie. Best damn pie I have ever eaten. Had to buy a couple of vanilla slices as well. Good thing is they also cater for Vegetarians and Vegans ( my sons partner is Vegan). Beautifully clean and laid out store. Staff are quick, friendly and attentive. Only down side is parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but you can park down the road and walk.
I highly recommend this to all you pie lovers.
Love the variety of pies they have to offer. We tried the award winning ones (plain beef, pork pepper and satay seafood). They obviously use good quality ingredients, the flavours were great. Also tried the fruit tart which was really nice - the texture of the custard was really smooth. Will have to come back to try their famous vanilla slice.
We tried the award winning flavours. My curry seafood one was nice but it was microwaved and then crisp on the outside maybe because they were sold out of this flavour. It was really good but unfortunately it was still little cold in the middle.
Great pies here and vanilla slices. I found their award winning curry scallop pie a little too sweet, but I enjoyed their beef varieties. Definitely need to take away the vanilla slice.
My gorgeous wife and I say to each other every time we drive past this place that we should try it. We have been saying that for at least 4 years. Finally, yesterday we made the visit and it did not disappoint!! The service is amazing, the food was great. It's the best steak sandwich I have ever had, it was actually a chilli steak sandwich and it was delightful. My smoking hot wife had a smoked Salmon sandwich with all the trimmings and apparently it was (in her own words) fresh and delicious. We can't wait to go back and give breaky a crack.
A huge thanks to the staff that work here for providing simple yet amazingly delicious food.
I have been there heaps of times with my Dad and I had the Chicken Parmigiana with Chips and the Lasagne with Chips. My Dad also had the Roast Beef Sandwich, which was a bit dry and the Lasagne and Salad. The staff were very kind and thoughtful to us and the service was quick.
Had the Lobster & Mushroom pie. Was nice and worth a try, not something I would feel the need to have again. But the standard menu is pretty good too.
Finally made my way to Country Cob Bakery to see what's the big hype they talk about their Pie. I must admit that this is one of the best Pies I ever had. They had so many varieties to choose from. The staff was very friendly and gave a good service. The place is clean and followed the covid regulations. Definitely I will visit again to try other varieties as well. Good on you Country Cob.
I was staying near the Bakery when I was in Melbourne. I walked there in the morning which had a temperature of 5 degree C. This place sells (in my opinion or decided by my taste bud) one of the best pies in the world. I love the beef pies. Bought also chicken pies too. Went there a second time a few days later and got a scallop pie (of course the beef pies as well). The other seafood pies were not available at that time. I will go again if I return to Melbourne (which I hope to).
Delicious pies and great customer service. They have award winning pies. The baked cheese cake is a bit gooey and I regretted not trying the lemon slice instead. Regardless, this is a local gem and we always get our pies here.
Can see why they won the award for best pie in Australia! The beef pies here have so much flavour. Will definitely come back and try their other pies.

Country Cob Bakery is all that it promises to be and more. The pies are simply out of this world. Amongst the best I have had anywhere. The constantly full & busy parking, fast moving lines at the counter and efficient staff, are testimony to the quality of fare on offer.
These pies are to die for. No wonder why they have won so many awards!!
All the flavours you could hope and want for. You will end up buying a few..
The coffee are sizes are huge, a small mistake I made but not upset about it.
Looooved it! Particularly the first two pies we bought. The Plain Beef and Chicken Mushroom were so good we had to buy another two flavours, Chunky Beef and Lamb Ragu. Starting with the first two, the plain beef filling was sooo tasty and pastry base was delicately buttery and the top flakey. The chicken mushroom creamy filling was just amazingly delicious, I've been looking for this type of creamed chicken and mushroom for the longest time!
The other two pies tho tasty wasn't quite on the same level as the first two.
Can't wait to try all their other flavours, though it's going to be hard not to order their plain beef and chicken everytime...
As for the store themselves, it was super busy, but service was fast, tables were somehow still kept clean despite how busy they were. Parking was convenient. Will be back!
