extensive menu usually with some surprising specials and other non- standard cafe fare. Good, tasty food cooked and baked by the owner/chef. Friendly and efficient service, again personally overseen by the owner/chef who has often served us. Prices also are reasonable. On this last occasion I had the ham minestrone soup with sourdough bread which was delicious.

An excellent spot, instant service, nice touches to scrambled eggs (I wish the average places bothered), great coffee. Aids my theory that places off the main drag have to serve better food to generate custom 😁

Very tasty and fresh chicken hot pot pie with delicious puff pastry. Home made Florentine and tasty coffee - very friendly staff, warm ambience.

Spectacular lunch - great find on just arriving in Bowral. One of the best croque Madame's I have tasted - very light bechamel sauce and the beetroot relish with the Gruyere Tart was superb. Very much looking forward to the return visit. Many thanks Kookabar 🙏
