This place is very reasonable priced. It is the only place serving a few classic street food of Beijing. Good authentic flavour👍Try to pack their home made buns for next days brekky.
Ordered the 'pancake' with bread, pork lungs, heart, liver, maw (stomach) soup, is something I will come back for. First time trying and is already on my all time favourite food list. The saliva chicken they directly translated it from, is a Beijing chilli style marinated chicken dish, which I think is not so spicy and delicious!!! If is too spicy it might kill your taste buds. But don't bother trying their lamb skewers is the worst I had tried. Go for XinJiang cuisine restaurants if youbwans lamb skewers.Too dry IMO. But will go back to try other Beijing cuisine dishes.
Edited: I went back 2nd time around and found an even delicious dish! The pancake(noodles style) dish! It's called stir- fried pancake!
Went there a couple of times with my wife and sister-in-law over the last few weeks. Nice place, family atmosphere, tasty dishes, moderate prices, never crowded. Friendly and prompt service - the owner is a very nice guy!
Tasty lunch. Had a nice lunch here last week. Had the Tou Dau Si (shredded potato dish - unfortunately only written in Chinese)- do ask the waiter/waitress for it. It is lightly cooked shredded potato with some shreds of carrot and capsicum, with a salted and slightly sour dressing. Really nice. Also had the tofu salad, with a salted "dressing"/seasoning, with spring onion and sesame oil.
On another note, the person I ate with was from Beijing, and I asked them is this normal for dishes from your home town. Answer was yes, so therefore I guess it's pretty authentic too.

Strongly suggest anyone who loves real taste of China to go there and have a try. Even though the service is normal, you won't regret!!!
This is truly the place to go for authentic Beijing cuisine. It's hidden not on the main eating strip and often overlooked but there is no other like this gem of quality northern chinese flavours
