Best Fried chicken I’ve ever had and boutique beer. Awesome setting, location and the greatest manager ever!! � highly recommend.

A lovely interior and seating for a solo diner though we got take away, The poor waitress was run off her feet yet she was composed, polite, patient and knowledgable and willing to assist, the fried chicken was wonderful but the rice was pre cooked and gluggy,
The pork bulgogi with veggies was wonderful well portioned tasty and spicy and fresh
The let down was the corn cheese

The fried chicken itself is moist and juicy and is consistently encased in a truly addictive crunchy batter.Although the chicken is the star dish at Gami, there are also a selection of sides which complement the beautiful chicken. The corn cheese is absolutely divine and one of the most popular dishes for a good reason! The dish is simple in concept, but well executed is the cheese is seared to a golden top over loose corn kernels. The tteokbokki is similarly delicious - gooey, spicy and simply moorish.
My go to place to eat fried chicken whenever I’m meeting up with old friends. Affordable when shared among your friends, and because it is a branch store, the food is consistently good :))
I also visited the glen Waverley store and I’ve got to say, both the box hill and glen store have amazing service.
The glen Waverley place doesn’t do split bill but I’m pretty sure the box hill one does (not quite sure if they’ve changed their system though).
Gami is one of my favourite fried chicken joints in Melbourne. We had a whole fried chicken between the two of us and it was the perfect amount. Juicy, crispy and delicious! But I’d suggest you go with more people so you can get their sides too! The potato heaven is amazing!
Food is tasty however it is slow to come out especially when they are busy. Pretty average in terms of price. No issues with the service. They also do take away.
The lunch special was good value for money, big portion and delicious. Gami is a predictable meal, you know what you are going to get no matter which Gami you visit. Have before and will again.

Great take away fried chicken from Gami Box Hill.
I ordered 4 boneless whole chickens, with two sweet chilli & two soy garlic. Great crispy skin on the chicken. Generous amount of sauce was in each box.
The accompanying sides of coleslaw and pickled radish were nice.
I love eating at Gami!
The fried chicken here is soooo yum! Super crispy and juicy on the inside- my favourite is definitely the sweet chilli dressing.
I also really love the potato which is done in 3 ways- it’s soooo creamy and cheesy- best cheat day meal.
The cheese corn is also a must try !

Traditional Korean Fried Chicken with a variety of sauces and sides. A little heavy on the honey but overall very enjoyable. Wooden seats and benches in a bright setting. Pleasant staff.
