For good ol’ Korean Fried Chicken, Nene Chicken does a very decent job.
With the lockdown dragging on, having some expertly fried chicken for dinner was a sure fire way to help lift the mood. I ordered their half and half jumbo pack. The snowing cheese was savoury and delicious. But my all time favourite was their swicy chicken. The sticky sauce was sweet, salty and mildly spicy. My only gripe was that the salads came in such teeny tiny boxes. I could have done with a bit more coleslaw.
Without a doubt, Nene Chicken turns me on!

Nene chicken is always lovely and crispy. Lots of different flavours you can choose to add to the generous pieces of chicken. They have been diversifying their menu lately and I am looking forward to trying some of their new items. For great value for money, their lunch box has rice, salad, kimchi, mustard sauce and of course, chicken in a box.....everything you want for a quick and satisfying lunch!

I really enjoyed their fried chicken, the batter was light and nice and the flavours were good. Dont forget to order the green tea soft serve for dessert, love a good soft serve after a meal

We bought takeaway malatang flavour classic range. We had high expectation that it would be like a real malatang flavour. Unfortunately, it doesnt have a strong malatang and not spicy at all. However, the flavour is a bit sweet which is yummy.

Tornado potato - perfect snowy cheese. So impressed with this, it's like biting into a crispy potato chip. The most crisp one I've have so far.
Calamansi is a refreshing zesty drink, tastes somewhat like a kumquat.
Didn't know there was a Nene branch at box hill station so got the potato tornado which was a twisted potato on a stick. Sooo nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Thought I can only get these during festivals so nice to see it in shops at Nene!
Last night I got to have ua chicken wrap at Nene. I often find their chicken portions to be OTT and I wish they offered smaller serves so am often looking for tasty smaller morsels. That said the wrap was quite sizeable and the accompanying mustard sauce generous. I was so hungry by the time I ate this that I’m probably being very generous with my star rating... damn it tasted good.
My family always go to Nene Chicken for the fried chicken because it tastes so delicious and crunchy and my favorite flavour is swicy. Also having Milkis with chicken is the best!
I always loved the taste of Nene Chicken especially their Swicy flavor. But i find this store a bit dirty. They always have tables not cleared, maybe cause they are always busy. 4 stars because of their friendly staff and the taste is there.
Quick, easy and delicious Korean fried chicken at Nene Chicken 😊😋 I can’t decide what I like more the snow cheese or the swicy flavour! The tornado potato chips also brings back so many memories of visiting japan and Korea
We were invited to Nene chicken last night somewhere I’ve always wanted to try but had never gotten around to. I wondered why everyone was using plastic gloves to eat the chicken and after I made a complete mess realised it would have made absolute sense to use the gloves provided.
Today we tried sweet potato fries, snowing chicken and waffle and a chicken wrap. My favourite was the chicken and waffle, crunchy yet juicy chicken served alongside a sweet waffle- the perfect combination for me. I enjoyed the ranch sauce with the wrap but there was too much of it which made both the wrap itself and the wrapper it came soaked through and soggy.
We also had the chicken pieces with two different flavourings, lemon and garlic. Lemon was my preferred as the garlic was pretty intense (though I am a garlic fan) next time I’d try a Korean twist potato and a chicken burger. The menu certainly offers plenty of variety
