As a lover of dough stick pancakes, the classic Shanghai breakfast, Pancake Village isn’t bad for a store in Melbourne. Quite authentic, always very satisfying, it’s gone up quite a bit in price though.

Like that movie franchise, this place is "fast and furious"! But you can add "flavoursome and fantastic" as well.

Pancake Village has mastered Asian crepes to a fine art. The classic dough stick crepe is a personal favourite with just the right amount of pork floss and pickled veggie. The pancake skin with egg is always thin and scrumptious.

And for an extra dollar, you get a drink. And if you're feeling extravagant, $2 gets you a soup. Sheer perfection.
