Pad Thai and the duck is sensational, all the curries are very good as well.
I didn’t like the papaya salad, it’s not very sour or spicy, not a very authentic taste to me.
The service is a bit slow. We sat upstairs and no one would come and take our order. Other then that, it’s great

My Favourite Thai restaurant in bayside
Consistently tasty , and great service every time
MUST ORDER : Gang Kari Gai
this delicious treat is featured on the AGFG for a reason . It is creamy , with great flavours tender potato and well cooked chicken . Topped with crispy onions
The red and green curries are awesome with both fish OR chicken protein . Luscious gravies that arent oily and greasy on the palate.
A local favorite for Thai food. Excellent flavors and large portions. Standard has slightly gone down since restaurant changed ownership but quality is still great!
We were seated upstairs this Saturday night, the narrow staircase led us up to a small area making it feel quite intimate.
The best of the dishes we sampled was the roti neur, the curry was very delicious. The garlic prawns was more like pepper prawns, felt it was a little underwhelming for the price as well. The pad thai was nice, on the less flavoursome side however compared to many others I've had before. Also disappointing was that the prawns were no longer served with this dish. The hoy jor was very average. Overall a good experience.
Surprisingly good. I only went because it was close to the cinema. It's rare to get terrible Thai food, as anyone can open a spice paste jar and make a tasty meal, but these guys stand out for three things:
1. Real Thai food, using fresh spices like kaffir lime leaves and fresh peppercorns.
2. Not sickly sweet. Most Thai restaurants are too heavy on the palm sugar.
3. Not the cheapest Thai place but the serving sizes were generous, so good bang for buck. Most Thai places will serve you a little copper pot with a few bits of chicken swimming in coconut milk - not here, and it is appreciated.
And a lovely casual atmosphere - although at first they did try to seat us upstairs in a cold and dark space, even though we had booked!
I'll be back.
Great local Thai place in Brighton. The restaurant is small inside, limited seating so book a table if dinning in. Takeaway is always great. My go to order is the green chicken curry, rice and roti. Great flavours and never disappointed.
We ordered take away delivered to home. There were 4 of us.
Each of us is very picky with food.
We are all foodies who are not backward with coming forward with comments about what we DON'T like.
We all tried a bit of each of our chosen items.
We all were unanimous that the food was good!
I've been at the restaurant a few times and have always found it consistently good and it's always very busy but it is a small place.
Keep up the good work.

This was a lovely restaurant with traditional, fresh and delicious Thai food.
The staff are lovely and very attentive. They're aware of food allergies and try and accommodate as best they can.
The restaurant filled up very fast and the ambiance was lovely.
I recommend dropping in for a quick bite to eat, they will not disappoint!
The best Yellow Curry! Seriously do yourself a favour and give it a visit. All the other dishes are fantastic and great to share, great environment and its BYO (wine only).
Its always pleasing to try a new restaurant and enjoy it so much, that you make immediate plans to return. TA seems to be the preference here as seating is tight.
Our order of (Chicken Larb, Pad Thai) was spot on ... composed, tasty and very fresh. The coriander popped, like it had been picked straight from your own garden. And the bill for our dinner was the cherry on top, fantastic.
My third time at Thai Saffron was definitely the charm. I hadn't been in almost 10 years, and I'm sorry I didn't come back sooner. The food was beautiful and everything overall was good.
If you're getting a starter, beware that their portions are far smaller than any other Thai restaurant I've been to. The Chicken Curry Puffs only come in twos, where everywhere else comes in fours, but I guess you can then still fit in your main meal. I must say, I couldn't taste the chicken in the puffs, but either way, the flavour was lovely. The fried rice was beautiful, fresh, moist (sorry, I can't think of another adjective to say "not dry") and tasty. Onion lovers will rejoice with the massive chunks found in the dish, but I could have done with a bit more refined chopping (for my taste).
Overall, Thai Saffron is a great local gem if you want a nice casual meal out. You can hear yourselves even over other tables, and the service and food were great. Parking CAN be challenging at times, but I wouldn't let that deter you from giving this a go. It's definitely well worth it!
Didn’t have to wait long for delivery. Red duck curry was the best I’ve had outside of Thailand. Can’t wait to eat Thai Saffron again.
Went here for dinner with a friend and we were both very impressed! The food is delicious and the customer service was excellent. Would definitely come back.
This Thai restaurant has a delicious modern Thai menu and the owners are lovely, lovely staff also.
