Located near the Southbank Cineplex, Grill’D South Bank offers a great ambience, decorated with string lights.
Ordered the Simon Says, a chicken burger which offers a wide variety of texture in a bite. Also tried the Crispy Bacon & Cheese, which was tasty but I found it rather lacking. If you are after beef-based burger, I’d recommend getting the Wagyu Wunder instead, as it had better balance in terms of texture and flavour.
For the sides, I’d recommend getting the Chips Share Plate, especially if you are coming here with friends. The chips were perfectly fried, served along with tasty sauces.
Overall, a nice place to have a burger. Might come back in the future when I’m craving for a burger.
Grill’d is in a really accessible and open location at Southbank. It is also open until midnight on fridays and saturdays.
Watched a movie at Southbank once that finished quite late, other restaurants’ kitchens were no longer open but Grill’d was, which was a relief as we were all hungry!
Overall, really good service and the burgers were brought out pretty quickly.
Ordered a wagyu burger here and was pretty satisfied! The burger pattie was moist and the seasonings were on point. Both burger and chips were in decent portion. The place was pretty spacious and had fun vibe. The staffs were also really friendly and gave fast services. Overall, it was a savoury and delicious meal altogether!

My usual buy here is 'Hot Bird' with fries, and it's an awesome treat!
Ambience is just apt for the place that it is. Services are usually good.
This place is 4, for best fries I have had in Brisbane, and good wholesome burgers that this place boasts - justifying quality flavor for all items on it's menu.

We regularly grab a quick meal here before heading next door to the movies - their service is fast and we know we're not going to be late for the movie! This is one of the few Grill'd where we've been seated at a table by a waitress at the front door, but there is plenty of room across multiple levels so I don't think you'll have to wait long. Their menu has plenty of options from salads through to burgers, of which we love the Summer Sunset and Nourish & Flourish best. If you're a fan of pickles be sure to get them added on as an extra, they're really yummy! We also love their Zucchini fries but the quality really comes down to whoever's manning the frier on the day (we've had terribly soggy ones and deliciously crisp ones). Don't skip the herb mayo either. Really enjoyed their Rose wine on our last visit in March 2018 as well. ***Note - while Cineplex Southbank cinemas used to allow hot food in their cinemas, they now have a strict NO HOT FOOD policy. So if you're planning on grabbing some Grill'd to take into the cinemas, please note that as of Feb 2018 we noticed they aren't allowing this anymore.
Burgers were delicious!! Chips were more average than they look - don’t bother ordering any. Service was efficient and good and staff were very accommodating. Love their whole restaurant design - seems very clean.
After the renovations, Grill'd is a lot more spacious! The burgers are the same as anywhere else to be honest, but the staff are fairly quick which is awesome and the portions are big too.
I had a wonderful experience here bringing a large group of 30 high school students for a meal before seeing a show at QPAC. Our transport arrived 50minutes late to bring us into South Bank, so the Grill'd team took our massive dinner order over the phone, then when we arrived in a bit of a flurry they had our meals ready to go and were polite, calming and pleasant in helping us to have our meal before running off to make it to our show. I wanted to say a big thank you to the team for being so understanding and so helpful.
Sometimes you just need a good, old fashioned half a burger! 😄 The "Simon Says" burger from @grilldburgers - chicken boobs, crunchy bacon, salad and herb mayo. Fast, cheap and satisfying for days when you're starving and in a hurry! 😄👌🏼

A frequent diner at Grill'd and at several outlets, I must commend at the work culture that Grill'd fosters and is trying to create. I personally found the staff to be very friendly and the runner went out of his way to assist, which was very kind of him.
I had the Simply Grill'd and the Crispy Bacon & Cheese and I found both burgers to be wonderfully prepared. They were presented on the plate in a very appealing manner, with the chips stacked up nicely in its cup.
The burger patties were flavourful beautifully grilled but the cheese was a let-down. There needs to be an option to have a strong flavoured cheddar cheese since the current cheese option just doesn't cut. The greens in the burger were a tad bit too much to my liking but the overall ingredients complement well. I prefer the super bun over the traditional bun so I'd recommend giving the two buns a try and see which one you prefer.
The chips were perfectly crisp with fluffy potato filling, but do remember they are served hot so be careful when you bite into them. Please do order a side dip since the dips bring out the best in the chips and I wouldn't have them any other way. The chips are seasoned with herbs and salt so it may not be the traditionally style chips but they work, however, they do taste a bit incomplete without the dip. This may work against the chips favour but I look at it differently. I generally select the hot chilli or sweet chilli mayo and don't particularly like the herbed mayo. A plain mayo or garlic aioli dip option would be great.
Not to forget, the ambiance is fantastic with the exposed brick walls & the wonderful wall decorations. The music selection always keeps me Shazaming and the lighting in the restaurant is bright. I'd definitely come back again.

The ‘impossible goodness’ vegetarian meat tasted like the real one. You can choose the bun (tradional, low carb, etc). Vegan or vegetarian.

Having eaten at grill'd too many times to remember I would recommend a reduction in salt and sugar in your menu if you really stand by your moto "healthy burgers". Apart from that, fantastic! Always enjoy a grill'd burger and the upbeat atmosphere.
Was very happy with the quality and service we received when eating here for dinner. We got our burgers and chips within 10 minutes of when we ordered. So was very quick service. The customer service was very nice and had a great conversation with my kids. The actual food was amazing. The quality of the different aspects were amazing. Overall great burger place. Cheap and good quality
Great burgers, and sweet potato fries. Nice atmosphere, and customer service. Only down side is that the shop uses a public restroom across the road, and doesn't have it's own. Had an issue with their online ordering system where our order was on placed but not received and payment went through, however this was promptly fixed through ordering at the counter.
The food was really yummy and the service was great, all staff seem happy and friendly. I'm just not sure about the process of standing in the front door looking at the menu before you can order it seems to clog up the entryway. If this is a covid thing it seems counterproductive. There is the online order option but maybe just make some more room at the front door.
Katie has served us as soon as H and K walked in last night around 5:15 ish. and i must say she had amazing customer. every since we walked in we felt so welcomed by her presence. apart from her amazing customer service! definitely recommend going there she was amazing. you rock Katie!
