I love this place for the food, for the service and for the honesty of these people. I am a regular of this restaurant and I spoke several times with the staff and the management team and i find them all super. In Brisbane there are many restaurants but i prefer black fire for their food and their moderate prices. the service is very good, they always make you feel comfortable and I noticed that they always smiling.

We chose the banquet meal. Which featured 3x starters and 2x mains for $69. The food was amazing! (The photos really don’t do it justice) Range of drinks good, and the ambiance relaxed, but the staff were attentive and friendly! Would love to visit again and try individual meals or even the banquets again.

I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday evening and the first thing I noticed was that the decor tries to invoke a Spanish vibe. Spain historically is very multi cultured and regional. Catalonia and the Basque Country want to be independent; Andalusia in the South is distinct for oranges and Valencia’s tapas. And not to forget the Sierra Nevada. The interior design hasn’t kept the metaphor to be honest with any of Spain’s regions but to me was rather a bit of a mix and match. This was reflected in the menu and wine list. Fuego Nero associates with coal fire and grills yet no central display of such. The menu was not dedicated to dishes prepared with this method either. I was looking out for my mains: a seafood risotto (Italian btw). Unfortunately, to me it was neither a risotto or a paella (Spanish). The Albariño was pleasant and fairly priced. All in all I think this restaurant has great potential and I hope that it will focus on authentic Spanish dishes only with a complete Spanish wine list to match. Otherwise it will be more of a touristy, quasi Spanish place to eat.

Birthday Breakfast and it was the first time that i visit this restaurant. My daddy and I only, we liked the restaurant and the menu, but we had to asked to be seated on the other room. i ordered the big breakfast and my dad got the spanish omelette (huge). Food was really good and the service very nice. it was sad to see a group of customers from the next door hotel having breakfast and be horrible, treat the staff outrageously bad for being courteous. MY dad asked the restaurant manager why them were so grumpy and rude and the man answered "not all of them are like that, just few from the hotel", we laughed a bit, the staff at blac fire had a very positive energy and attitude. we will be back and will try lunch and dinner
