Love their creative drinks. We did the Easter menu on Sunday which was so yummy. I had the chocolate egg melting in my mocha and the hot cross bun French toast. Others had the waffles but the honeycomb tasted burnt in the ice cream. Otherwise another great breakfast.
I love going to Let Minnow Cafe. The food and service is wonderful. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for good food, especially their gluten free products.
The food was amazing, and the service was quick despite quite a few customers. The portion sizes are quite big and leave you full and satisfied.
Great friendly staff, and consistently good food and cocktails. Very good chai lattes, and a chilled atmosphere. Nice crunchy chips, and good vego/healthy options too.
Let Minnow ... Let Me Know how long my food is gonna be!!
This place has the longest wait for food ... been here a few times hoping to give it benefit of the doubt that I won’t have to wait forever, and always end up frustrated and cursing I won’t be back ... you will wait around an hour for what is to be honest average food.
Cute cafe and good location however.
I visited Let Minnow a while ago and boy it was amazing. Chocolate waffles with bacon and ice cream. Would be one of the best breakfast's i have ever had. I am not sure whether this is still on the menu or if it was a special but i hope they still have it so everyone can try.
Highly recommend this brekky spot!
I have visited Let Minnow on two occasions recently and have great things to say about the café.
On my first visit I ordered the Gnocchi Gnocchi Who’s There and absolutely loved it! The flavours were perfect, the gnocchi was so tender and the portion size was just right. *4.5/5*
I decided I had to try something different on my second visit so I ordered the Holy Macaroni which was lovely but not my personal favourite. *3.5/5*
Both times I also ordered the Mystic Mermaid fresh cold press juice. I absolutely loved it and would say it’s one of the best juices I’ve had. *5/5*
I was on the look out for some local honey during my second visit, and to my delight they had some on the counter! I was then told that the honey was actually from their backyard which is super cool. It has a great floral flavour and was very reasonably priced. The only thing that could improve it would be the use of non-plastic packaging.
The wait staff were lovely on both occasions and were very accommodating of my nut allergy.
Absolutely adored my pumpkin and quinoa fritter! The herbed cashew nut 'cream cheese' was especially tasty. Staff were attentive and accommodating, never pestering the table but always there when you needed them. I will definitely be back with friends in tow.
Went here for weekend brunch with the partner. Very popular time as people were continually coming and going for takeaway or sit-down breakfast/lunch.
An updated list of the Winter all-day breakfast and lunch is available on the Let Minnow website.
We started off with a cold brew coffee - which was standard, and a small cappuccino - which was well-balanced.
For food, we ordered the 'Up Beat Breakfast with Mixed Mushroom' - generous servings of various types of mushroom, lovely beetroot hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs; and the 'Tidal Wave Waffles with Crispy Chicken' - similar sweet potato waffles, well-fried chicken and a lovely pickled and spicy side salad.
We also ordered a small side of 'Poutine Fries' - moreish dish of hot fries with melted cheese and gravy.
We also ordered a slice of the Jaffa Brownie as takeaway for an afternoon tea treat. It was soft, moist and was delightly baked with plenty of jaffas.
Friendly service. The cafe was very popular, therefore it took some time before our meals arrived. Casual ambience. Seating available outdoors and indoors. Reasonable prices.
Overall, a lovely (and popular) spot offering delicious classic breakfast and lunch options with a different twist.
Great cafe with wonderful, friendly staff. I loved the decor and ambience of the place. We had the haloumi toastie and granola, along with a latte and mocha. The coffee was rather well balanced. The food servings were generous and value for money.
Wonderful coffee and beautiful food, kids meals went down a treat and bacon and eggs were perfect, great customer service. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely love this place! Such a wonderful cafe with a lot of variety on their menu and always a long specials menu included. Usually when I go to brunch spots I opt for the safe bacon and eggs on toast but their menu has so menu delicious things that really catch my eye. From their specials menu I tried the pea and ham soup, which you don’t come by much in Brisbane and it was delicious! A variety of freshly squeezed juices as well which I love. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and will be back again.
Nice meal with friendly staff. Pasta was fresh and could tell they use fresh pasta instead dry ones. For burger, however, chicken wasn't crispy but could tell it was pre-made and warmed/heated up once ordered. Overall taste was good and liked the vibe and atmosphere surrounding also good too.
Absolutely amazed by the flavour and quality of food by this hidden gem in Clayfield.
Firstly the food looks beautifully presented and is packed with flavour. 10/10 to all these dishes.
All staff we met were extremely friendly however the stand out was a waitress named Regina who was ever so welcoming from beginning to the end of the experience there.
Parking is not the easiest here however as the cafe is always so busy that most of the time the street parking infront is taken.
Highly recommend coming here!
Coffee was presented well with good robust flavour. We ordered corn fritters & chilli eggs. Not enough chilli in the eggs for my friends taste, but a good dish. Fritters were delicious, crispy outside & soft inside with lots of corn. Accompanying Salsa was nice, avocado was a bit mushy could have been chunkier for my taste but on the whole a good dish
Beautiful food, lovely coffee, and such a nice atmosphere here. Even at their busiest, it’s worth the wait. Staff are so friendly, it feels like you’re in your own home kitchen.
The best avo on toast I’ve ever had, and I like to think I’ve had more avo on toast than I’ve had hot dinners in my life! 🤗
Street parking is ample, too.
Loved the Persian eggs (20 AUD), the caramelised onion yogurt was such an amazing pairing - added halloumi (6.5$) and sautéed spinach (5$) for some more sustenance - 9/10
The avo toast was lovely and well seasoned - we added poached eggs (18$ + 4$) - 8/10
Breakfast Burger (18$) there was smashed avo in the burger and that was an amazing addition - burger was a little small but maybe we were just super hungry 😅 - 8/10
Swimmer Crab Linguine (26$) - tasty, we added some salt and pepper for some more flavour 7/10
Eggs Benedict (24$) - 7/10
Prana Chai Latte was a huge highlight (7$), frothy, warm, sweet, and gently spiced - 10/10
Strawberry Split Smoothie (9.5$) - 7/10
Latte - 10/10
