Love the DIY rice paper rolls with sugar cane prawn. It’s so fresh and light but filling at the same time.
Came here twice in two weeks. And both times ordered from the viet menu. First time I was craving some traditional pho. Man the portions are worth it. Huge bowl of pho even the regular size was too much for me. Only thing I would want is the beef to be more rare. The other night I got a chicken noodle. It came with crispy fried chicken which was delicious. Only down side is the places air conditioning is very weak and it would be much more enjoyable eating a bowl of hot noodles in brisbane summer with blasting ac. But overall great food in west end. Some of the down side of the Chinese dishes is it doesn’t include rice.
Decent pho and noodles. Tables were sticky and grimey.
Value for money grub if you're after a quick meal.
Will be back to try other stuff !

Went here for an after work get together. They struggled to cater for 12 people, but we got cosy with four of the outdoor square tables.
Food was pretty good and service was pleasant enough. Combination chow mein is what I ordered, and it was above average. They actually have a “Chinese and Malaysian menu” along with a “Vietnamese Menu”
Prices a bit high but reflective of proximity to CBD I guess. They have a one bill per table rule that they strictly enforce - which is something to work around. Although a big pro is this place is BYO with no corkage- with a bottle store next door - hence the rowdy crowds sometimes. Up to you if that’s a pro or con.
We love this place! Been coming for years for an authentic Vietnamese experience which never disappoints. Also love the casual and bustling experience. A must try!
Good ol hearty bowl of pho that will soothe your soul and cleanse your sins. Price for the amount and quality food is definitely a damn bargain. Pho-king good
Had beef stew noodle soup and the grilled beef paper rolls - wow! How good the food is - We felt too disrespectful to take away the leftovers! So we literally stuffed the last drop of the soup! - soooooo full!!!!! 🤣👍😋
Love the place as well - it has a nostalgic Vietnamese ambience lighting - everything feels softer and slower here - interesting feeling 🤔😊
I’ve been coming to Quan Thanh for years and years. Not sure why but I prefer the take away option with these guys. Having said that every time I place an order I am told it will be ready in 15 minutes. This is never the case no matter how busy it is. It is always 20-30 minutes. This is the only negative thing I can say about Quan Thanh.
Besides that the food is amazing, the rice paper rolls are up there with the best in brisbane. If you haven’t been to this place you are missing out!
Quan Thanh was always packed that one time I gave up waiting on this restaurant and ate in Trang.
There are so many menus to choose from and I kinda got confused the first time I came here since they provide Chinese food as well. Tried the Sliced Rare Beef Noodle Soup. It was the classic beef pho flavour with savoury broth and generous portion of both noodles and beef slices. The price was also fairly decent and made me want to try other menus!
It was our first time at Quan Thanh and we dined on a weekday lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly and served cold water while deciding what to order.
We decided to share a Pork BBQ Wonton Noodle Soup ($14.40) and a Broken Rice with Combination ($16.40). Food was very tasty and servings were huge! We had plenty for lunch and even had more to takeaway for dinner. Fantastic value for 4 meals!
