Party of three for Father’s Day dinner. Not too packed and service was good and attentive. Starters of chicken pakora were excellent. The tandoori mixed grill was a huge portion and the ladies curries were very tasty. The keema nan was a bit soft for our liking. great experience. Would recommend and we will be back.
Am updating my review for Punjabi Palace simply because we had a more positive experience. For entree we ordered the vegetarian samosas which were very good, nice crunchy pastry with tasty filling. My aloo gobi also good with plenty of cauliflower & well spiced. Only small whinge was the bread a bit doughy
We drove past this place and it looked inviting so we came back for dinner. Meal was, garlic naan, butter chicken and I had beef vindaloo. All was very nice and the service was attentive. Will come back.
The food was fantastic, couldn’t fault it, delivered fast and the flavours were excellent. The only thing that lets this Resturant down was the staff, from the slapped down menus to the girl standing over us 2 minutes later asking what we wanted it felt rushed to the point of rude. The staff are all that loses it a star.

We had buttered chicken and lamb korma - normally both very tasty. This time both had no taste and the lamb seemed to be burnt (like expose burn when slow cooking). It was similar to buying one of those Indian jar meal preps from the supermarket. Smelled and looked good, but was watery and had only a hint of flavour.
For the ones who like to have Indian food, Punjabi palace is there for you.
I have tried varieties out . Panner tikka, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken , butter naans, tandoori rotis everything is just superb.
the dishes have a typical authentic taste which is loved by all the Indians.
Been coming here for years. Their lunches are great value and love the range of curries on offer. Dining in is a good option that we’ve done, but we often get takeaway. Love their home made paneer!

I want to start out by saying that the curries were delicious. I especially liked the chicken tikka masala ($18.50). It was sweet and medium spice level was enough to make it slightly spicy while not making you reach for glasses of water. However, people with high spice tolerances may be disappointed. Note that the beef vindaloo ($18), while claiming to be 'HOT', is really not spicy at all. The portion sizes of the rice and curry were very small though. 5/5
Unfortunately, the same praise cannot be given to the naan ($4) and the lassi ($4.20). The naan was far too salty, while the lassi was very thick and overly sweet. 2/5
I strongly recommend to make a table booking even if you only have two people. The restaurant was full at around 6pm. This may have factored into the difficulty of trying to get the single waiter to come to our table so we could order more rice; however, as an ordinarily busy restaurant, they should have accounted for the number of people and accordingly increased the number of waiters. Not terrible but rather annoying.
Edit: Went back for lunch. The naan this time was surprisingly good. My conclusion on the curries is that they are good but too salty. They remained unrelentingly mild. Don't expect much from the salad - it was tiny (composed of finely diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion IIRC) and they had marinated everything in salt for some reason.
The service was awful. Again, hard to flag down a waiter, but not only that, they mixed up the order (I clearly said medium spice and got hot, not that it made much of a difference) and forgot two of our salads.
TL;DR: Good curry but too salty and not spicy, small portion sizes, variable naan, bad service
Punjabi Palace is consistently tasty and good value. We go there regularly for lunch with the special lunch menu being great value. The naan is also a winner
What amazing flavours🍽. The $32 Banquet was a total 🏆 winner. Fast delivery of food to the table, attentive staff and very friendly. Good selection of drinks menu. Absolutely will eat or get delivery from here when back in Brisbane (From Melbourne)
Ordered butter chicken, tikka masala, garlic naan and saffron rice. Taste of the curries were quite good and delicious, however portions are quite small and very expensive. The curries were around $20 each - and really just for one person. Garlic naan was alright but could use more improvements in my options - the overall texture wasn’t great and didn’t taste much of the garlic.

Punjabi palace is my favorite Indian restaurant in town; paintings on the wall display the spirit of India. Staff members are very friendly and with great customer service skills. Food is prepared with fresh and high quality ingredients.
The food is sensational. Garlic cheese naan is so tasty by itself; and if you dip them in the curries, you won't be able to stop eating them. I ordered 2 initially and my tummy requested me to add another 2.
For the curries, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Beef Ceylon both with mild flavor. The chicken was cooked skillfully that all the flavor had been soaked up by the meat. The beef was tender, juicy and easy to chew.
I definitely recommend the restaurant and I will come back again in the near future to try different dish on the menu.
Best Indian we have ever tried!! Other restaurants are okay but this is the best - the flavours are just perfect. At other Indian restaurant all you can taste is grease, oil & chilli but the flavours at Punjabi Palace are sensational. We tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and they were absolutely packed upstairs and downstairs despite the other restaurants in the area being empty and now we know why! Service was fast (considering how busy it was) and staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again and again!

Punjabi Palace has a very nice family atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food at a reasonable price.
Unique ambience - the music is not loud, just pleasant background chatter.
I also like that I don’t feel rushed like in other restaurants where they are eager to take the plates away.
They are also open till late.
Cosy restaurant, good service and authentic Punjab cuisine.
