We went here in their first few days of reopening for breakfast and dinner over 3 days. Virtually all new staff. They were all wonderful and really welcoming.

Nice quiet atmosphere in restaurant. Meals came quickly and were tasty. Kind of pricey. Lamb dinner had enough sides built in that no extra sides needed to be ordered. Salmon was sparse on the sides. Sticky fig/date pudding needed more sauce.
Full buffet breakfast included with our room. This was awesome with plenty of choices for every preference, allergy or religious or political persuasion. One last indulgence for the holidays before returning to the diet.

Disappointing but edible. If it wasn't for the Accor discount I'd never go back. Ordered a cappuccino and it looked like it came from a nescafe machine. Never fails to disappoint.

I had a lunch with 3 friends here on a Saturday. It was a lovely light filled setting, very clean, modern, nice and quiet. Not at all busy, only one other table was occupied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, why I mark this place down was due to the extensive delay on our meals arriving, like over an hour and the one other table was served long before us, despite arriving after us. We all ordered simple salads, so there was nothing complex to prepare. We were very hungry by the time the meals eventually arrived and the staff did acknowledge and apologize for the delay. Something went really wrong and I felt terrible as I'd recommended the venue to my friends, who weren't impressed and the time it took disrupted another activity we had planned. The meals were ok, but certainly not worth the wait. I think they can do much better, but this was my experience on a very quiet day.

For a Saturday night the restaurant was very quiet. Once we received our food we understood why. 4 meals and no one was impressed or satisfied. We initially overlooked the bad service, but after having to send food back to be cooked properly and asking for ordered drinks multiple times, we were certain to never return again. The cherry on the top was the attitude received by using an AMEX card to pay for the bill. Bye Felicia!!!

We absolutely loved our meal here! We ended up having entree, mains and dessert and they were all superb. Great drinks list, great service, huge compliments to the chefs :-). We will definitely be back!

Dinner was just ok nothing fantastic. The rib fillet looked good on the plate, but it tasted watery like it was chucked on the grill frozen. The pork belly was underwhelming it just wasn't a great dish. The kids meals were average also, no real flavour there. If it wasn't for the accor discount I would have been pretty annoyed. The staff were great the stars are for you.

Dined here on a Saturday. Great place to meet up with friends and family who were staying at the Novotel. Could not fault the food. They seemed to be out of a few of the Sauvignon Blanc wines and were pushing the Opawa white as an alternative. Other than this, couldn’t complain.

Nice enough, friendly staff, but the food is very ordinary. $45 for an under-charred, overcooked, and somehow watery steak is not good enough. The one vegetarian option was a pizza that was also overcooked to the point of brittleness, and the so called 'bocconcini' was just shredded, rubber-like packet stuff, not the little melted balls of goodness it should be.

Fine dining prices, with less than food court quality...ironically the latter was what I trying to avoid when shopping at DFO, but in hindsight it would have been a better choice for my wallet, and taste-buds alike.

The Restaurant is very lovely visually, the staff were friendly.Unfortunately the food I ordered was sub par as was the service.Food : I ordered the Thai Beef salad. The noodles advertised were Glass Noodles, they were undercooked, and they were the bulk of the meal. I googled the correct texture of this while we were at the table to check that it wasn't me just be really picky. The dressing was beautiful, light and delicate. There was not enough beef carrots or been sprouts to balance out the sheer amount of noodles.Drink service: We were asked if we wanted drinks when we sat down ( lovely). We all opted for water which was quickly finished within the first few minutes. The water jugs and glasses them sat there empty, despite servers coming to the table on 4 separate occasions. They came rushed through what they said and had turn around to leave as soon as they were finished. It was hard to get a staff member to acknowledge me when I was sitting at the table. In the end I had to walk up to them and request refills. Its not terrible service, but it is definitely not what I expected from a fine dining restaurant.

Attended here while staying at the Novotel for work.

When I saw the big open kitchen and the fancy names for the steak, I thought this might be something good, but unfortunately like most hotel restaurants, it was pretty damn average.

I ordered the ribeye and asked for it medium. It came out a mix of well done and medium. I'm not sure if the steak was cooked poorly or if it was just a bad cut of meat. Anyway, it was pretty forgettable. At $45, I'm glad it was company paying because I would have been upset if it was coming out of my own pocket.

Expensive hotel but typical for hotels near airports. Very friendly staff ordered chicken with side of sweet corn and rice. Really tasty and fresh veges. Nice hotel restaurant.

High prices for very ordinary food!. I took my uncle from the U.K. to Catalina for dinner before he returned home. The setting was lovely & modern, the staff very pleasant, & on paper the food sounded divine. Unfortunately this was not the case and while you would envisage these beautiful meals from the description given, they looked & tasted like something you would buy from the frozen or bakery section in Coles. Except that you were paying about 5 times the amount! A decent chef/s would make all the difference as everything else is of a good standard.

Don't do the breakfast. It's not that the breakfast is nasty, it is not particularly good but would be OK if the cost wasn't so high.
Having eaten it, I felt ripped off.

Evening meals are limited but not too bad, prefer Breakkie Creek hotel though.

Staff were lovely and service was great. Food was lovely. Recommended.

Only recommend if having an Accor card.. Food is good enough to ignore the service. Just keep an eye on if you visit with odd number of people, they always have different ways of discount given.

Wonderful!. My wife and I dine here fairly regularly. Great wine list, service and meal selections. Consistently tasty and filling meals. Highly recommended, particularly if you have an Accor card.. Do yourself a favour and try here rather than the overpriced and pretentious venues toward the cbd
