$2 EXTRA FOR TOASTED?!! Are you kidding me?
Nice place but you have to watch weird add ons that are usually free. Eg to toad banana bread ( which normally comes toasted in a cafe) it’s $2 extra.

These pancakes taste like Christmas. Every bite of them is not heavy - AT ALL- but impossibly light.
Gingerbread-y tastes fill your mouth and somehow you picture green trees and red berries. (Maybe its the colours in the plate. Maybe it's the association of Christmas with holly and mistletoe, even to people who were born and bred and breath the tropics like me.)
The plums are impossibly good. Why are they so good? What is in these plums?
Nothing is overly sweet, and that shouldn't be possible with the plums and dried cherries. Oh man, the dried cherries taste like mulled wine and happiness and genius.
CHOCOLATE AVOCADO MOUSSE. OH man. This is the best thing for a nutty-chocolate lover. That texture.
Still, nothing is over-sweet. This needs some sort of medal!
The chef is a genius, I thought...and 15 minutes later, I still think that.

I'm a big believer in praising something when you're the most grateful. In this case, it's after I ate these pancakes because I was NOT intending to stop during it.
I tried. I tried a few times, but I couldn't. It would have ruined the experience .
Breakfast of Nims eggs was awesome, full of interesting flavours, banana chutney & pesto, but hey it works!!!!
